We already know that many audiovisual productions that are less than ten minutes long are loaded with psychological and emotional material, presented in a clear, simple, direct and even dialogue-free manner. When you spend a few minutes thinking about them and discussing them with others, you begin to see the colors and themes that the director wanted to show. SYNOPSIS

La Luna shows the exciting moment in which a child is introduced for the first time to the family business, and which it seems he was not clear about what it consisted of. Since he will not be a simple observer, he will have to participate in the plan that his father and grandfather will execute during the night working hours. But he will be between two waters, and we are not referring precisely to the sea, but to the opposing lines of thought of his relatives who will try to influence him.

FAMILY AND BUSINESS ASPECTS

It is easy to deduce the place and intentions that each character has in the family tree of the family. We already know who has the experience and who has the vigor; who is visited by monotony and who is busy.

Bambino, the child, is shown with a high dose of realism as a child would be on the high seas, accompanied by two of his most loved ones and acquaintances, willing to learn, curious and eager to please adults with his actions. By means of specific gestures, the little one tries to adopt what is necessary to look like his relatives. Who wouldn't? Many probably had a role model when they were little and didn't hesitate to act it out.

Papá is the father and directly responsible for Bambino being on the high seas. Although we know that deep down he is interested in his heritage, he focuses on teaching and trying to get him to see how he performs the activities, and will include even the smallest details.

Nonno is Papá's father, and who seems to be in the same job longer than the other two. We soon realize how he reacts to the differences of opinion of the younger ones - any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental! The overflowing affection for the grandson will also cause him to try to influence him, even though it may seem like a contrasting idea from Papá.

And where is the commercial aspect? If you think about it, the framework in which the story is presented may be a generational change in a work that has belonged to more than one generation. Although the ultimate representative of that is Nonno, he himself might have been a child who also inherited it from his predecessors, and you'll understand when you see what the job is.

Many families have faced this situation: passing on their family business to their children, and we know that sometimes it doesn't work out well. And there are several factors to consider, which are reflected very well in this little story. The way in which the eldest teaches, the establishment of a tradition, the respect for the experience and the founders, the fear of changing and renewing things, the degree of interest and passion that the new aspiring boss has for the business itself, if he likes it or not, if he identifies with it. How many coffee plantations have I seen abandoned when the son does not continue the prosperous work that the father started? But that is another story.

By keeping this tone of the story in mind, you can see that it can harbor commercial lessons of what can happen in this type of business.

SOME TOPICS

Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the characters' design, nor by the elementary nature of the two scenarios. It is true, you realize that there will be a special fantasy in the story, when a ladder appears that goes against the laws of physics, or when the boy refuses to throw an anchor into the sea assuring him that it is not to be used like that. But behind those first moments, there will be deep issues that are addressed.

I think it is common for parents to want to protect their children, but not a few will resort to what they themselves have served as the only (or best) alternative to instill in them. So sometimes we go from protection to imposition, forgetting that, in many fields, there is more than one way of doing things. You'll see it in details like the cap and the work tools.

Children tend to use their imagination more, and in their "logic" they can detect things almost invisible to the adult. That problem solving that an infant can have in a simple and direct way will also be manifest in the story at a key moment, and is related to one of the important lessons of the short film.

Teamwork is necessary in this family, and it is shown from the beginning, although some of them work in different ways. Each one will assume his or her role without forgetting the training they must give to the newcomer.

At one point in the story, the most know-it-all in life will receive a slap on the cheek that will leave a mark that says: "We will never stop learning. " We will always have occasions that surprise will mark an indelible imprint on some of our neurons, just like a branding iron. And the sky will mark an excellent scenario to demonstrate this hard reality, in view of the fact that even today it is still being explored and there are more questions than answers.

INTERESTING ASPECTS

How many have been told a fictitious and fanciful story to explain a natural, logical and proven fact? Such an inspiration is what you have to give shape to this story. So if your child believes what he or she sees here, please explain the truth afterwards.

If you are now watching the short film for the first time, perhaps the characters will seem familiar to you. And that's because the director is the same as the movie Luca, released in 2021. Bambino is very similar to Luca. And Papa is very similar to Massimo. Are they the same? Are we contemplating a preamble of what would be presented ten years later? Well, you have to ask for Enrico Casarosa's WhatsApp and ask him. If you find it too difficult and want to know the answer, you may have to read several reports on both and try to find the real answer, not the simple conjecture of the writer of the article. But there I leave you with the doubt.

The humor is simple, basic and innocent, as without intelligible dialogues, it shows you Bambino as the main character, and in a subtle way takes you to his place, so that you can see through his eyes. You may find it boring if you're having a bad day, but to many of the more stoic people I know it has snatched at least a shy smile.

MY OPINION

I did like it and recommend it.

I liked the simple and subtle music it has, where if you try to give it attention you will imagine what latitude and longitude the story is taking place in.

Perhaps the unknown is highlighted by a very good selection of the sound of the stars. There is a metallic sound, which also seems somewhat fragile. But the ear tries to decipher it and can't absolutely say, "It sounds like such a thing!" I think it's a good decision for us to share the Bambino experience.

Some angles and framing are technical resources used intelligently so that Bambino's perspective and prominence predominate. And we would expect nothing less from a man who started making stories through sketches. So the result must look a lot like what he originally had in his head.

The use of yellow captivated me. Some of the uses of yellow in color psychology is to highlight intelligence, knowledge, curiosity.... Of course, it has other uses, both positive and negative. But at least we can identify the ones mentioned in this captivating story.

CONCLUSION

It is a short film to watch on any auspicious occasion when you sit down to have a snack in the afternoon, or when you are waiting for your family member to finish getting dressed so you can leave the house. Just pay attention to the details and you will be able to smile and maybe see some of the nuances mentioned in this opportunity. Ya sabemos que muchas producciones audiovisuales que no llegan a diez minutos están cargadas de material psicológico y emocional, presentados de una manera clara, sencilla, directa e incluso sin diálogos. Cuando le dedicas unos minutos a pensar en ellas y comentarlas con otros, empiezas a ver los colores y temas que quiso mostrar el director. ¿Cuáles son algunos de los que lleva consigo éste titulado "La Luna"? Por favor, acompáñame.

SINOPSIS

La Luna muestra el emocionante momento en el que un niño es introducido por primera vez al oficio familiar, y el cual parece que no tenía claro de en qué consistía. En vista que no será un simple observador, deberá participar en el plan que ejecutarían su padre y su abuelo en el horario laboral nocturno. Pero estará entre dos aguas, y no nos referimos precisamente al mar, sino a la líneas de pensamientos opuestos que tendrán sus familiares que tratarán de influir en él.

ASPECTOS FAMILIARES Y COMERCIALES

Es fácil deducir el lugar y las intenciones que tiene cada personaje en el árbol genealógico de la familia. Ya sabemos quién tiene la experiencia y quién tiene el vigor; a quién lo visita la monotonía y quién está afanado.

Bambino, el niño, se muestra con una dosis alta de realismo con el que estaría un niño en alta mar, acompañado por dos de sus seres más queridos y conocidos, dispuesto a aprender, curioso y deseoso de agradar a los adultos con sus acciones. Mediante ademanes específicos, el pequeño trata de adoptar lo necesario para lucir como sus familiares. ¿Quién no? Probablemente muchos tuvieron un modelo a seguir cuando estaban pequeños y no dudaban en exteriorizarlo.

Papá es el padre y responsable directo de que Bambino esté en alta mar. Aunque sabemos que en el fondo está interesado por su herencia, se centra en enseñar y tratar de que él vea cómo él desempeña las actividades, e incluirá hasta los pequeños detalles.

Nonno es el padre de Papá, y quien parece estar en el mismo trabajo por más tiempo que los otros dos. Pronto nos damos cuenta de cómo reacciona ante las diferencias de opinión que tienen los de menor edad. ¡Cualquier parecido con la realidad es pura coincidencia! El cariño desbordante por el nieto hará también de que trate de influenciar en él, a pesar de que pueda parecer una idea contrastante de Papá.

¿Y dónde está el aspecto comercial? Si lo piensas, el marco en el que se presenta la historia puede ser un cambio generacional* en un trabajo que ha pertenecido a más de una generación. Aunque el máximo representante de eso es Nonno, pudiera que él mismo fue un niño que también lo heredó de sus antecesores, y lo entenderás cuando veas cuál es el trabajo.

Muchas familias se han enfrentado a ésta situación: pasar sus negocios familiares a sus hijos, y sabemos que a veces esto no resulta bien. Y hay varios factores a considerar, que son reflejados muy bien en esta pequeña historia. La forma en la que enseña el mayor, la implantación de una tradición, el respeto a la experiencia y los fundadores, el miedo a cambiar y renovar las cosas, el grado de interés y pasión que tiene el nuevo aspirante a jefe sobre el negocio en sí, si le gusta o no, si se identifica con él. ¿Cuántas haciendas de café he visto abandonadas cuando el hijo no sigue el próspero trabajo que empezó el padre? Pero ya eso es otra historia.

Al tener en cuenta éste tono de la historia, podrás ver que puede llegar a albergar lecciones comerciales de lo que puede pasar en éste tipo de negocios.

ALGUNOS TEMAS

No te dejes engañar con la sencillez del diseño de los personajes, ni con lo elemental de los dos escenarios. Es verdad, te das cuenta que habrá una fantasía especial en la historia, cuando aparece una escalera que atenta contra las leyes de la física, o cuando el niño se le niega arrojar un ancla al mar asegurándole de que eso no es para usarla así. Pero detrás de esos primeros momentos, habrá temas profundos que se abordan.

Creo que es común que los progenitores deseen proteger a sus hijos, pero no pocos recurrirán a lo que a ellos mismos les ha servido como única alternativa (o la mejor) para inculcárselas a ellos. Así que a veces se pasa de la protección a la imposición, olvidando que, en muchos campos, hay más de una forma de hacer las cosas. Lo verás en detalles como la gorra y las herramientas de trabajo.

Los niños suelen usar más la imaginación, y en su "lógica" pueden detectar cosas casi invisibles para el adulto. Esa resolución de problemas que un infante puede tener de forma sencilla y directa también será manifiesto en la historia en un momento clave, y guarda relación con una de las lecciones importantes del corto.

El trabajo en equipo es necesario en ésta familia, y desde el principio se muestra, aunque algunos trabajen en diferentes medidas. Cada unos asumirá su función sin olvidar la capacitación que deberán dar al más nuevo.

En un punto de la historia, los más sabelotodo en la vida recibirán una bofetada en la mejilla que le dejará una marca que dice: "Nunca dejaremos de aprender". Siempre tendremos ocasiones que la sorpresa marcará una huella imborrable en algunas de nuestras neuronas, tal como un hierro de marcar. Y el cielo marcará un excelente escenario para demostrar ésta dura realidad, en vista que aún hoy se sigue explorando y hay más preguntas que respuestas.

ASPECTOS INTERESANTES

¿A cuántos les han contado una historia ficticia y fantasiosa para explicar un hecho natural, lógico y comprobado? Una inspiración así es la que se tiene para darle forma a ésta historia. Así que si tu hijo se cree lo que ve aquí, por favor, luego explícale la verdad.

Si ahora ves el corto por primera vez, tal vez los personajes te parezcan familiares. Y es que el director es el mismo que la película Luca, lanzada en el 2021. Bambino es muy parecido a Luca. Y Papá es muy parecido a Massimo. ¿Son los mismos? ¿Contemplamos un preámbulo de lo que se presentaría diez años después? Bueno, hay que pedir el WhatsApp de Enrico Casarosa y preguntarle. Si se te hace muy difícil y quieres conocer la respuesta, tal vez tengas que leer varios reportajes sobre ambas y tratar de hallar la respuesta verdadera, no la simple conjetura del escritor del artículo. Pero ahí te dejo la duda.

El humor es sencillo, básico e inocente, ya que sin diálogos inteligibles, te muestra a Bambino como el protagonista, y de manera sutil te lleva a su lugar, de modo que puedas ver a través de sus ojos. Tal vez te parezca aburrida si tienes un mal día, pero a muchos de los más estoicos que conozco le ha arrebatado al menos una tímida sonrisa.

MI OPINIÓN

Sí me gustó y la recomiendo.

Me gustó la música sencilla y sutil que tiene, donde si tratas de darle atención te imaginarás en qué latitud y longitud se está desarrollando la historia.

Tal vez se resalta lo desconocido mediante una muy buena selección del sonido de las estrellas. Hay un sonido metálico, que también parece algo frágil. Pero el oído trata de descifrarlo y no puede decir de forma absoluta: "¡Suena como tal cosa!" Me parece una buena decisión para que compartamos la experiencia de Bambino.

Algunos ángulos y encuadres son recursos técnicos utilizados inteligentemente para que predomine la perspectiva y protagonismo de Bambino. Y no esperábamos menos de un hombre que se inició haciendo historias mediante bocetos. Así que el resultado debe parecerse mucho a lo que tenía originalmente en su cabeza.

El uso del amarillo me cautivó. Algunos de los usos del amarillo en la psicología del color es para resaltar la inteligencia, el conocimiento, la curiosidad... Por supuesto, tiene otros usos, tanto positivos como negativos. Pero al menos podemos identificar los mencionados en ésta cautivante historia.

CONCLUSIÓN

Es un corto para ver en cualquier ocasión propicia cuanto te sientes a merendar en la tarde, o cuando estás esperando que termine de vestirse tu familiar para poder salir de casa. Eso sí, ponle atención a los detalles y podrás sonreír y tal vez ver algunos de los matices mencionados en ésta oportunidad. Por supuesto que servirá para usarlo como recurso didáctico si así lo decides. ¡Hasta la próxima!
