[Week 160] My ideal date (or hers?)

Since we were engaged, my wife and I have shared hobbies and pastimes. So it was easy to know what we wanted to do together, even after we were married. This is what inspired me to draw us on what could be an ideal date, thanks to the initiative of this important community.

There we are, both of us, at the cinema. We love to watch movies and entertain ourselves in that environment. We also like the evening hours since there are fewer people there. We prefer the upper seats, near the spotlight. And as you can see in the picture, there is popcorn, chocolate, soft drinks, hot dogs, and any other goodies are welcome, whether they are bought at the movie theater or not. Come on! Whoever hasn't bought something and smuggled it into the movie theater, cast the first stone. I've even put donuts in the hems of my pants. But that's another matter. The point is that the ideal date is at the movies with a good movie, a convenient time and place, and with enough food.

After the movie, of course, we have to have dinner. Neither of us fall for the old tactic of: "With these treats I'm not eating dinner anymore ". No. We've learned that when that happens we usually have to get out of bed at midnight to cook something. So when we get out of the movies we can have some fast food for dinner. Our favorite is the hamburger. We don't usually visit famous franchises for it, but rather hawker stalls or at least lesser known but good quality franchises. In these things size and cost-quality ratio count. So we will be there a little after 6:00 p.m. with a burger with everything. For sure we will have the opportunity to have several sauces and be able to taste them. In the drawing, my wife finished first before me and already mine is in danger. It's not because I'm very voracious. But in her favor I can say that it always takes time for us to go back and forth to the table carrying the meals, maybe take time to pay, also refill the drink, etc. In all that time, she already goes ahead with the food. So I drew her like that as a bit of fun. Although sometimes she does ask me, *"Are you going to eat all that?"

Why did I put the clocks in? Because we're used to going to bed early, and since we don't have our own vehicle, we rely on public transportation or our own resources. Of course, we have had several of these dates, and we hope to continue having them. Long live movies and junk food!

Your drawings of your ideal date with your wife are really lovely.

I love the look on your wife's face when she sees your hamburger.

Yes, she liked it too, and we laughed together. We know that sometimes it really happens, not very often. So that's the idea: to have fun with the exaggerations we can achieve with the drawings. Regards @verdesmeralda

I really like to draw, I just don't have much time to develop it. So I didn't miss that opportunity. Regards @avdesing
