Thug Of Hindustan

You can call me an Amir Khan fan, and maybe if he has a fan club, I am prepared to be a member. It's not a matter of style, but Amir Khan has been doing outstandingly well in his movies, with nice storylines and amazing characters. You will always want more of his movies.

If he is going into comedy then it's surely going to be a full-time comedy movie, and when he is about to inspire, the seriousness is always worth it. I remembered a movie I watched titled “Like Star On Earth Every Child Is Special”. It was an interesting one with a lot of life morals.

Pointing to the fact that everyone surely has their specialty. And we are not equal. The storyline was so touching and insightful. But not for Thug Of Hindustan.

One thing I liked about this movie is the settings they used for it. It was like all of these Roman Indian olden lifestyles. And surely takes one back to the old way of those who lived in the 18th century.

Thug Of Hindustan

The trailer alone was enough to convince me to watch the movie apart from the fact that I appreciated it because Amir Khan was the lead role. It is a 2018 movie and has its genre a mix of action, adventure, drama, and comedy.

The plot

Long Ago when the land of India was known as Hindustan. There was a king who was killed by a foreigner named Lord Clive. His only daughter named Zafira and one of the generals Khudabaksh were the only survivors.

Firangi, a thug who fools people for money. A selfish soul who has been wandering around deceiving people. Firangi does anything for money, be it betrayal or submission. He doesn’t care about the aftermath of it.

Khudabaksh who was a general led a group of thugs to conquer the British army at an event where Firangi was trying to express his love to Suraiya, one of the loyal ladies to the British. All for money, Firangi got captured alongside where Khudabaksh was prisoned due to the betrayal from Firangi just to attend the show. He deceived Khudabaksh and betrayed their whole team by leaking the information to the British.

In the end, Firangi played another tricky game between the British using Zafira whom they had planned together to save their country. The plan worked out surprisingly to the general Khudabaksh and they saved the general and the country after Firangi aided Zafira to take revenge.

Casts

Firangi

The funniest character in the movie. At times you feel like killing him one moment, then the other moment you might have given him a thumbs up. He played the betrayal game so well and was funny.

Zafira

Another strong and amazing character in the movie. Her actions were top-notch. It really complimented her beauty and she delivered well.

Khudabaksh

Named Azad! The lion of the movie. He displayed his strength and strong will for his country, his loyalty knows no bounds as he held onto the legacy of the late king and tried all he could to restore his country to normal.

Lord Clive

An annoying character. It is so obvious that that's how tricky the British were from their past lives and not just something that just started recently. They have been trying to overpower and pressure lower nations below them.

In conclusion,

If I am to rank the movie on a scale of 10 then I will give it a 7/10. This is because they used a lot of tricks that seemed to appear unrealistic. Though in the old times, they were known to be stronger, that should also have some limits. If you are interested in watching an action, adventure, and comedy-packed movie then I recommend Thug of Hindustan
