Introduction & Movie Plot

The Diplomat is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language political action thriller film based on real life story.

There is an Indian girl named Uzma. She is called to Pakistan on the pretext of marriage but she is imprisoned there. So this story is about this girl which is based on a different incident of 2017, how that girl went to Pakistan and how that girl came to India.
The movie starts with the date 5 May 2017. In the next scene we are shown that there are high mountains and the weather is like winter and there is no sunshine. Then in the next scene three people are shown, out of the three two are old men and one is a small child. The man is teaching the children to shoot bullets. Then a car comes and the man sits in the car and goes somewhere. Then in the next scene some women are shown, one of these women is drying clothes outside and there is a slight injury on her face and the rest of the women are shown who are inside the window and they were wearing burqa and it seemed as if they were kept imprisoned at that place.

A man and a woman wearing a burqa come out of the house and the man makes the woman sit in the car and sits in the front seat of the car and the car is being driven by the man about whom I told you a while ago who was teaching small children to shoot guns. The three of them get in the car and leave somewhere and the road there was very rough and then after a while they are shown the office of the High Commission of India which was located in Islamabad. The three of them get down from the car and reach the gate of the office where they are checked there and after depositing their mobile phones and other things they go inside to the waiting area. One of the men tells the woman that Uzma the work should be done today. Then both the men go to the side to smoke a cigarette and then Uzma runs to an officer and pleads in front of him that please save me, I am an Indian and I have been imprisoned here, please save me.

The officer sitting at the counter is about to press the panic button because this is their protocol in such a situation but then he pauses for a moment and believes the girl and quickly tells her to go towards gate number 6. The girl immediately runs towards gate number 6 and as soon as she reaches the office inside the gate, everyone gets scared seeing her and she says only one thing that save me. In such a condition, all the people in the office get scared because they do not know anything about her and they feel that she is a terrorist. Then the officer to whom the girl went first comes and he asks for her passport for verification where her details are found to be correct. The rest of the people in the office talk about JP Sir and say that we should talk to JP Sir about this. After some time, JP himself reaches there and interrogates the girl and at the same time, the girl's passport details are also being collected and as much information as possible about her is being found out.

JP Sir and some senior officers discuss among themselves what to do in this case because all the details of the girl were genuine and they were not able to understand what to do next. Now JP Sir interrogates the girl and asks her how she came here and which city she went to and many questions are asked to her. During interrogation, it is revealed that the girl was called by a man named Tahir who had come with her to the embassy. Then the girl tells that she has also been subjected to domestic violence and GP Sir sends a female officer with the girl to verify this thing and the girl shows him the marks where she was beaten up.

Now I think that the story beyond this should not be told and it should be kept in suspense because it is possible that if I tell the story after this then you will not enjoy watching the movie. I would recommend you to definitely watch this movie because first of all, this movie is based on a real story and there is so much suspense and thrill in this movie that you will remain in the movie till the end. Although the movie is not very long but I can say with confidence that your time will not be wasted and when you watch the last scene of this movie, you yourself will become emotional. I am surprised that I came to know about this case after watching the movie, whereas how it happened in 2017 but I did not know about it at that time. I feel that if film producers and directors start making movies based on real life stories, then society will get to know about many things and we will get information about those things which perhaps are not shown to them on time and we will get to know about those heroes who work for the country but are rarely mentioned.
