CineTV Contest: Ibiza: A Masterpiece About Friendship!

Hello CineTV lovers. I’m back again with another blockbuster movie which is centered around friendship. Watching this movie, it makes me reminisce about my days with my clique in high school. Yes, I had a clique in high school because every other student had their clique as well.

This gives me a memory of how my clique including my best friend amongst other girls move together. We eat together, do things together and the highest of it all which is actually funny is how we all are not good in Mathematics. That’s one common thing about all of us.

To celebrate my old friends, best friends and partner in crime, I’ll be writing about a movie titled Ibiza

Plot

Harper’s boss, Sarah informs her about her trip to Barcelona to sign a contract with a new client. This felt like the best time which Harper and her two friends, Nikki and Leah will go and have fun in Barcelona so they both insisted on going with her.

On getting there, Nikki meets Diego, one of the clients and they both flirted with each other while Harper meets with DJ, Superstar Leo West and Leah was being chased around by a woman whom she was flirting with her husband.

While the fun continued to go on, Sarah called Harper repeatedly but there was no response. Out of fun, Harper didn’t want to pick Sarah’s call because she was having fun with her best friends. All Harper wanted was to meet Leo, the man of her dreams who has just traveled to Ibiza and she went with her two friends.

Nikki and Leo tried their bests especially when Sarah found out that Harper was busy having fun in Barcelona but with their help, they located Diego and signed the contract for her. At the end, Harper and Leo, her dream man fell in love with each other and all thanks to her best friends for making her love life a reality.

What influence does this movie have on me?

One thing this movie portrays is how friends stand by each other. It was obvious that Harper was sent by Sarah to go sign a deal in Barcelona but getting there, it was a different ball game.
At last, her friends came through for her by helping her get the contract.

This shows what friends should do. If your friends can’t go in and out for you, then why do you call them your friend? A friend should be able to go in and out for their friends which is clearly shown in this movie.

Any scene that pops into my mind?

The scene where Harper tells her two friend Nikki and Leah about the work trip is my favorite. We’re talking about friendship here and that’s truly how it is.

Many times, I want something but my friends make it clear that this is what should happen and that’s what they want. Harper never wanted them to go with her but the way they talked together and echoed that they we’re going with her looked so natural.

Watching this scene, it was so natural that you may forget that it is a movie. It was played well like the three of them were real friends in real life.

Why do I think this movie is great?

It’s a great one. It looked so real. When watching movies, one basic thing I check for is realness which was spotted in the movie and that’s why it is great. It didn’t feel like acting. It felt like I was just watching my friends doing what they were doing.

Also, the storyline shows what real friends do. Sometimes, when my boss sends me on an errand, I prefer to go out to chill with my friends at first before doing what I’m supposed to do. I think there are so many people like that and that’s normal.

This is a significant movie that talks and shows friendship. It’s a movie that I can recommend to anyone especially adults and I will give it 9/10 rating.
