Greetings!

Apple has made history of being the only "3 Trillion" company the world has ever seen making it the largest company in the world. Apple is trailed by Microsoft, Saudi Arabian Oil, Alphabet (Google's parent company), and Amazon (the online shopping giant). Apple's most popular and beloved piece of technology is the iPhone. The first ever iPhone was first introduced in 1997. The iPhone is what really made the valuation of Apple skyrocket and become the most valuable company known today. Aside from the iPhone, other popular devices that the company sells are the iPad and Macbook. Those devices are only a fraction of the actual products of the company. The "App Store" is one of the cash cows of the company as it generated more than 86 Billion of revenue last year (2022) which steadily increased over the last five years.

Apple's humble beginning is from the family garage of Steve Jobs. From the garage, they build computers and then sell them. When the company started to grow and they realized that they would need a larger space they decided to open a new office in Cupertino, California (Apple's first ever office when it was moved from Steve Jobs' family garage) in Crist Drive, Los Altos, California. Today, Apple Park is the current office of Apple (which is a 14-minute drive from Steve Jobs' family garage.

There are multiple movies that depict the life of Steve Jobs. One of which is "Jobs". Well, the narrative of this movie is of course about the life of Steve Jobs which started when Steve Jobs introduced the iPod and then pivoted back during the time of Steve Jobs in Reed College. I actually got some opportunities to hold and use an iPod when I was in college and I can say that it is a device that is impressive and very likable.

Of all the movies that I have seen depicting the rise of Steve Jobs as one of the most revered technological visionaries the world has ever seen "Jobs" is by far the one that I like the most. It's narrative and screenplay suits my expectation. The script also helped the narrative make "Jobs" a great biography movie depicting the rise of Steve Jobs and Apple, the company he co-founded with another Steve, Steve Wozniak.

I may have to look for more for the narrative to include some scenes specifically detailing the return of Steve Jobs to Apple after he was ousted and how he would have talked to Bill Gates about how Steve Jobs got some money to help the company (Apple).

I started to watch this movie without much expectation because I already knew some stories about the life of Steve Jobs. When the scene pivoted from the barefooted Steve Jobs walking around the campus of Reed College it got me a little bit interested to continue watching the movie.

Inside Reed College, a professor seems to be interested in what Steve Jobs has to say on anything which I like because it shows that even in college Steve Jobs can capture the image of anyone he is going to talk to.

And then came the scene where Steve Jobs is working at ATARI. The scene shows how Steve Jobs behaved which made some of his coworkers uncomfortable. I am not looking forward for this scene to be included in the movie but it is a great addition to the script of the movie which makes it more interesting to me to continue watching.

Another scene that I also like very much is when the movie shows young Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs walking down the parking lot of Hewlett Packard (HP) where Steve Wozniak was currently working at the time. In the scene, Jobs is persuading Wozniak.

And of course, I am looking forward to the scene where the APPLE I computer is finally shown in the movie. It was at the home of Steve Wozniak when Steve Jobs paid a visit to Steve Wozniak to give his share by building a game for Steve Jobs.

And then the movie made a surprise, which actually surprises by the scene when Steve Jobs first uttered the word "Apple". The two best friends were inside a car on their way for a presentation when they agreed to name the computer that Steve Wozniak built.

The scene where Steve Jobs first coined Apple

The movie seems not to be missing something that viewer wants to see this film when it finally shows "Byte Shop" the first store ever to sell an Apple Computer, the Apple I.

The Byte Shop the first store to sell Apple Computer which is the Apple I.

Further into the movie, I am still getting more and more interested in the movie, especially Mike Markulla, the first Angel Investor who poured money into Apple Computer giving the company the necessary money to be able to start and keep its business to continue to grow.

Another scene that I love is when Steve Jobs was staring at a computer with a Windows Operating system in it. In the scene, Windows 1.0 can be seen on the monitor of the computer.

Then the scene pivots from the exciting parts of the rise of Apple and Steve Jobs to the eventual departure of Steve Jobs from the company which is also I like very much since the movie depicted clearly how Steve Jobs left and company and perfectly shows the realities of running a company. You may have founded a company and considered it as your own until you are booted out of the company that you built (which is a sad reality).

All in all, I like the script of the movie, the scenes, and the acting. I think it perfectly captures some of the most important events of the humble beginning of Apple from a garage to the departure of Steve Jobs and his eventual return to the company. But to be honest I was actually looking for more when I knew that the field had just ended after Steve Jobs booted out the board of the company and therefore took control of the company from then on. I would have loved to see in the movie the launch of the first iPhone but it wasn't included in the film. But it doesn't take from the movie that it is great that is a must-watch for those who love biography films.
