Nice to see a review of this classic, which I saw when the movie first came out. It would be hard to explain to someone watching the movie today how revolutionary this movie was at the time. I don't understand the zombie reference in your piece. It never occurred to me or anyone else that the birds were zombies. Their behavior was unnatural and unexplained. But I don't recall anyone suggesting zombies. Maybe I'm misreading your words.

Anyway, thanks for the review. I agree about Tippie Hedron. She indeed was perfect in the role.

I watched it recently and I'm a big fan of the zombie niche 😃😃, so before watching the movie, when I saw the title The Birds plus Hitchcock plus Horror, the first thing that came to my mind was hordes of zombies, but instead of zombies.... hordes of birds 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

It was just a thought that crossed my mind before watching it and I wrote it down because it was my first impression haha 😃😃. The birds are not zombies or like zombies at all in the story.

Now, after watching the movie, since I was left wondering why they behaved that way, they actually explain it there: they gather.... they attack.... and they retreat, only to wait a long time and do it all over again 😐😐. Besides, at the end, they just walk right through them and nothing happens, they get to the car, and end of story. So, for me, it definitely left me thinking for a long while about what several characters had said in the diner 🤔🤔

Until I watched the trailer and Mr. Hitchcock answered everything for me...The birds just can't stand us anymore.... 🫣🫣

WoW!! You watched it during its peak era 🤩🤩, I can only imagine the impact of this movie back then. In my case, the best part was Hitchcock with his trailer; it really complements the movie for me. But of course, I've already watched so much horror movies that I was actually left expecting more haha, the ending surprised me because I thought there was still more movie left jaja 😅😅

Yo la vi recientemente y soy fan del nicho de zombies 😃😃, entonces antes de ver el film, cuando vi el titulo Pajaros mas Hitchcock mas Terror pues lo primero que vino a mi mente fue ordas de zombis pero en vez de zombis.... Ordas de Pajaros 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

Fue simplemente un pensamiento que vino a mi mente antes de verla y lo escribi porque fue mi primera sensacion jaja 😃😃. Las Aves para nada son zombis o como zombis en la historia

Ahora, despues de ver la pelicula, como quede con la duda de por que se comportaban asi, alli lo dicen, se reunen.... Atacan.... y se retiran para luego pasar un tiempo amplio y repetirlo 😐😐. De paso al final pasan a traves de ellas y nada, llegan al carro y fin, entonces para mi vaya que me dejo largo rato pensando en lo que habian dicho varios personajes en la cafeteria 🤔🤔

Hasta que vi el Trailer y me respondio todo el señor Hitchcock...
Las Aves ya no nos soportan mas.... 🫣🫣

WoW!! La viste en su momento de apogeo 🤩🤩, solo puedo imaginarme el impacto de este film para la epoca, en mi caso lo mejor fue Hitchcock con su Trailer, me complementa mucho la pelicula pero claro ya he visto tanto de Terror que de hecho quede esperando mas jaja, me sorprendio el final porque pense que aun faltaba pelicula jaja 😅😅
