"Some people just want to watch the world burn."

So I've read this article shared by @ond on D.Buzz This video is linked at one point concerning ETH & the possibility of miners destroying it.

I didn't read the whole article, but I suspect it might result in two version of #ETH.

  • ( that is, if anything controversial happens )

That's one possibility but I doubt it. The article explains why that's more expensive than #ETC fork of years ago...

I think people who don't like the update will just leave ETH & mine other coin. Whether that affects the price & usage of it in a good or bad way, we don't know.

When there was an issue last time, #ETH forked into two coins:

  1. #ETC
  2. #ETH

& #ETH ended up winning . . it is not clear which coin would receive the #ETH ticker if there was another fork that split #ETH in two again.

What you said was unclear, though I won't tell it's inaccurate. 🤔 When ETH forked because of a major hack where many coins were stolen, it split into two. ETC is the cryptocurrency where the stolen funds remained stolen, while ETH is the cryptocurrency where the hack was reversed and is drastically more popular than the previous one. 🤨
