Un saludo a ustedes, la gran comunidad de @Movie&TVShows, no recuerdo la Ășltima vez que hice alguna reseña de pelĂculas, personaje decido volver, para recomendar una pelĂcula poco conocida, la cuĂĄl quisiera decir que es una obra maestra oculta o joya infravalorada, lĂĄstima que este no sea el caso...
La saga de videojuegos Postal, ha sido una de las franquicias mĂĄs polĂ©micas en el mundo de los videojuegos, causando indignaciĂłn a muchas personas como padres de familia, gente conservadora y demĂĄs detractores de los mundos virtuales. A pesar de que esta saga ha ido cambiando con el tiempo, si propĂłsito solo ha sido generar polĂ©mica, hacer lo que nadie se ha atrevido. La primera entrega se destaca por ser de los juegos mĂĄs oscuros, pues tĂș Ășnico fin es acabar con la vida de personas sin motivo aparente mĂĄs que sacar la bestia que hay en ti, donde el protagonista estĂĄ harto del mundo, a travĂ©s del estrĂ©s y locura. El 2do juego (del cuĂĄl es el que se basa esta pelĂcula) deja un poco de lado la violencia macabra y abraza mĂĄs lo absurdo, donde el jugador tiene la libertad de actuar como le da la gana y reĂrse un poco mientras actua de la peor forma. Siendo este el eje central de la pelĂcula.

The Postal video game series has been one of the most controversial franchises in the gaming world, causing outrage among many people, including parents, conservatives, and other critics of virtual worlds. Although this series has evolved over time, its sole purpose has been to stir up controversyâto do what no one else has dared. The first installment stands out as one of the darkest games, as your only goal is to take peopleâs lives for no apparent reason other than to unleash the beast within you, with the protagonist fed up with the world, driven by stress and madness. The second game (on which this movie is based) sets aside the macabre violence a bit and embraces the absurd, where the player has the freedom to act however they please and have a little fun while behaving in the worst possible way. This is the central theme of the movie.

Postal es adentrarse en una de las ĂĄreas mĂĄs desordenadas del cine. Esta pelĂcula, dirigida por Uwe Boll, es tan polarizador como el material original de Running with Scissors, y para redactar una crĂtica es necesario comprender que no existe la "correcciĂłn polĂtica" en este caso.
Considero a esta pelĂcula, absurda con muchas ganas. Se podrĂa decir que tiene todos los elementos para ser polĂticamente incorrecta, pues asĂ es el estilo de este director. Logra captar la esencia de Postal 2: ese sentimiento de que el mundo es un lugar horrible, absurdo y propenso a estallar en una violencia sin sentido. Por unos instantes, sentĂ gran parte de la frustraciĂłn del protagonista, al menos en un principio. El protagonista se siente como una persona real (al menos en un principio) que solo quiere conseguir un trabajo, a medida que empieza a tener un dĂa fatal, decide escapar del pueblo en busca de una mejor vida. Postal is a foray into one of the most chaotic corners of cinema. This film, directed by Uwe Boll, is just as polarizing as the source material for Running with Scissors, and to write a review, one must understand that there is no such thing as âpolitical correctnessâ here.
I consider this film to be delightfully absurd. You could say it has all the elements to be politically incorrect, as that is this directorâs style. It manages to capture the essence of Postal 2: that feeling that the world is a horrible, absurd place prone to erupting into senseless violence. For a few moments, I felt much of the protagonistâs frustration, at least at first. The protagonist feels like a real person (at least at first) who just wants to get a job; as he begins to have a terrible day, he decides to escape the town in search of a better life. As the film progresses, you realize that the protagonist had a somewhat turbulent past and decided to leave it behind, but little by little he returns to being the disastrous character he had decided to bury.

Y para sorpresa de nadie, se deja este discurso de lado y la pelĂcula termina en una absurda y potente guerra de regiones. Solo queda bailar por los campos mientras las bombas caen.
Toward the end of the film, weâre treated to a speech about how many groups and sects believe themselves to be Godâs true emissaries, when in reality none of them are rightâbecause God doesnât need anyone to restore order; thatâs what Heâs there for. EstĂĄ pelĂcula es terrible, la verdad; pero no sĂ© siente que sea una parodia como lo es Scary Movie por ejemplo, debido a que busca adaptar la licencia lo mejor pos. El juego es bastante rancio, estĂĄ peli tambiĂ©n, asĂ que en lo que respecta, ambos son tal para cual. No sĂ© sie estĂĄ demĂĄs decir que estĂĄ pelĂcula solo la disfrutarĂĄs si te gusta el cine absurdo o si eres fanĂĄtico de esta franquicia, pues a pesar de todo, ser respeta mucho el espĂritu de esta (aunque no sea muy difĂcil). Por eso, a esta pelĂcula le doy un 6.8. la recomiendo sĂłlo si eres muy curioso y quieres saber que NO debes hacer en el cine, que cosas no debes filmar o escribir.
This movie is terrible, to be honest; but it doesn't feel like a parody the way Scary Movie does, for example, because it tries to adapt the franchise as faithfully as possible. The game is pretty stale, and so is this movie, so in that regard, they're two of a kind. I donât know if it goes without saying, but youâll only enjoy this movie if you like absurd cinema or if youâre a fan of this franchise, because despite everything, it really respects the spirit of the franchise (even if thatâs not very hard to do). Thatâs why I give this movie a 6.8. I recommend it only if youâre really curious and want to know what NOT to do in the movies, what things you shouldnât film or write.
