SILO Marathon while I was recovering

I'm always looking for something new to watch because, honestly, being at home most of the time gets really boring when you don't have any kind of entertainment, so I searched Google for recommendations. I wanted to watch a series similar to one I really like called “FROM,” and Google recommended SILO. At first, the cover didn’t really catch my eye because of its warm colors—it reminded me a lot of Mad Max, and honestly, I’m not a big fan of that style of movies or series. But after searching for a while, I realized there was nothing else to watch, so I decided to give SILO a try.

“Silo” is set in a future where life outside is impossible, as the air outside is toxic and there is no trace of life. The silo is a structure housing 10,000 people living in a community—a human society inside a massive tube connected by staircases. The story takes a very strange turn when the sheriff’s wife begins to question the existence of the silo, the outside world, and so on. Unfortunately, she and the sheriff are killed, but Juliette, a woman who works as a mechanic, takes her place and begins to investigate

The first season really hooked me; the mystery surrounding the SILO is undoubtedly massive. It makes you want to binge-watch episode after episode and follow the story without missing a single detail. You crave answers and can't wait to uncover at least half of the information behind this whole story, which feels more like a conspiracy.

Unfortunately for me, the second season was a total waste of time. All the questions from the first season remain unanswered; they only give us a few hints about certain plot points but don’t fully reveal the information. Most of the episodes in the second season just show how a sort of rebellion is brewing in the SILO, while Juliette is in another SILO helping a guy who’s pretty crazy. It was very boring, with unnecessarily long scenes and conflicts that aren’t very important. It was disappointing that the second season ended this way; lately, I feel like they’re making series longer on purpose, without considering that they end up boring the audience and losing that essence of the first season.

Maybe it's too early to say this about the series, since seasons 3 and 4 haven't come out yet, but I really found the second season quite boring. Still, for someone who was on bed rest like I was, with nothing else to do, it was a nice distraction, so I'd give it a 6/10.
Siempre es grato buscar alguna serie para entretener, no he visto esta pero veo que la primera temporada fue un éxito y la segunda muy aburrida, tal cual lo hacen para alargar la trama.
