Hace poco HBO subió a su cartelera esta película la cual vi con expectativas algo altas ya que mucha gente decía que era muy buena y que debería tener mejor reconocimiento, sinceramente, no soy el publico de este tipo de películas o no sé, pero nunca me sentí familiarizada con la protagonista o su historia, es una película lenta, aburrida, desesperante en ciertos puntos, que a veces te deja con mas preguntas que respuestas y absurda.

HBO recently added this movie to its lineup, and I watched it with somewhat high expectations since a lot of people were saying it was really good and deserved more recognition. Honestly, I’m not really the type of person who enjoys this kind of movie—or maybe it’s just me—but I never felt connected to the main character or her story. It’s a slow, boring, and at times exasperating movie that sometimes leaves you with more questions than answers—and it’s just plain absurd.

Esta película de terror psicológico nos muestra la historia de Evy, la cual es una chica que al parecer maneja un programa de podcast paranormal, pero al mismo tiempo ella se muestra bastante escéptica durante toda la película. La cuestión es que Evy vive con su madre la cual está prácticamente en coma y ella la esta cuidando, durante uno de sus programas recibe unas grabaciones extrañas que mientras mas la escucha peor es el miedo que generan en ella, ya que son grabaciones de personas que estan siendo acechadas por una entidad

This psychological horror film tells the story of Evy, a young woman who apparently hosts a paranormal podcast, but who remains quite skeptical throughout the film. The thing is, Evy lives with her mother, who is practically in a coma, and she’s taking care of her. During one of her shows, she receives some strange recordings that, the more she listens to them, the more fear they instill in her, since they’re recordings of people being stalked by an entity.

Me imagine esta película como algo más aterrador sobre todo teniendo en cuenta su premisa de podcast y usar audios como principal fuente de miedo, pero me decepcionaba cada minuto jaja, el personaje principal es tan insípido y los sustos son prácticamente escasos, los audios pudieron haberlos escuchado fácilmente en una sola noche porque eran audios super cortos, pero por alguna razón el programa de podcast duraba como 5 minutos jajajaa, tambien no entiendo porque alguien “escéptica” tendría un programa de PODCAST DE TERROR, durante la mayoría de la película se la pasa buscándole la lógica a los audios que reciben…

I imagined this movie would be scarier—especially given its podcast premise and the use of audio clips as the main source of fear—but it disappointed me every single minute, haha. The main character is so bland, and the scares are practically nonexistent. You could have easily listened to all the audio clips in a single night because they were super short, but for some reason the podcast episode lasted like 5 minutes, hahaha. I also don’t get why a “skeptic” would have a HORROR PODCAST. For most of the movie, she spends her time trying to make sense of the audio clips they receive...

Toda la película ocurre en una casa y a veces esa formula de un solo escenario funciona cuando la trama es buena pero esta película NO es buena, asi que para mi esta en la lista negra desde el momento en que la vi.

The entire movie takes place in a house, and sometimes that single-location formula works when the plot is good, but this movie is NOT good, so as far as I'm concerned, it's been on my blacklist ever since I saw it.
