Hola a todos, espero que sen encuentren muy bien… Últimamente he tenido mi cerebro muy ocupado sobrestimándolo con noticias y cosas que solo me llenan de ansiedad y depresión, asi que decidimos junto con mi esposo ver esta película para distraer nuestras mentes un rato y ver algo diferente, había escuchado que esta película era muy buena y estuve esperándola con muchas ansias y aunque al principio no me atrapó, poco a poco me fue dejando cada vez mas asombrada, es una película muy buena de terror.

Lately, my mind has been really busy—overloading it with news and things that just fill me with anxiety and depression, so my husband and I decided to watch this movie to take our minds off things for a while and see something different. I’d heard that this movie was really good, and I’d been looking forward to it so much. Although it didn’t grab me at first, little by little it left me more and more amazed—it’s a really good horror movie.

Obssesion es una película de terror y amor en la que un chico llamado Bear en busca de conquistar a una chica de la cual tiene mucho tiempo enamorado (Nikki) termina pidiendo un deseo a un extraño objeto que compro en una tienda de cosas espirituales, Bear rompe el sauce del deseo pidiendo que Nikki lo quiero mas que a nada ni a nadie en este mundo, el deseo es concedido, pero como suele pasar en estas situaciones, todo deseo tiene su precio, nada es gratis. Es ahí cuando vemos que ese amor de Nikki es algo mas que enfermizo, es como una especie de posesión donde ya ni siquiera Nikki es quien habita su propio cuerpo.

Obsession is a horror-romance film in which a boy named Bear, hoping to win over a girl he’s been in love with for a long time (Nikki), ends up making a wish on a strange object he bought at a spiritual goods store. Bear breaks the “wishing willow,” asking that Nikki love him more than anything or anyone else in the world. The wish is granted, but as is often the case in these situations, every wish comes at a price—nothing is free. That’s when we realize that Nikki’s love is more than just unhealthy; it’s a kind of possession where Nikki is no longer even the one inhabiting her own body.

la manera en la que esta película maneja el terror es adictiva, me lleve muchísimos sustos y esta actriz es maravillosa, hizo su papel tan bien que me logro dar miedo, sus ojos, su mirada, transmitían una oscuridad profunda, una oscuridad que viene del alma, creo que no conocía a esta actriz pero ahora me gusto bastante su trabajo.

The way this movie handles horror is addictive; it gave me so many scares, and this actress is wonderful—she played her role so well that she actually scared me. Her eyes, her gaze, conveyed a profound darkness—a darkness that comes from the soul. I don't think I knew this actress before, but now I really like her work.

Aunque la película no se aleja de muchas realidades si te pones a analizar algunas cosas se podrían comparar perfectamente con relaciones toxicas, es una representación grotesca y macabra de cómo es una relación altamente toxica, pero convertido en una película que para mi es ORO.

Although the movie doesn't stray far from reality, if you stop to analyze certain aspects, they could easily be compared to toxic relationships. It's a grotesque and macabre portrayal of what a highly toxic relationship is like, but turned into a movie that, to me, is GOLD.

Sinceramente, una de las mejores películas que he visto este año.
