Strange sleep scenario

You're a normal guy, but everyone has nightmares in which you appear. Sometimes you don't intervene, sometimes you're the executioner. You became the most famous man in the world overnight. Will you be able to handle it?

I think Dream Scenario was about bullying. In the first few scenes you get the impression that it's just another A24 studio thriller. But as time goes on, you realize that a person's terror can come from the people around you on a daily basis.

As I was watching the movie, I said to my wife: I bet you this man is going to suffer because of some social trauma, and not exactly because of some supernatural entity.

I was right, and I thought this story form was great. I think there is also a nod to the danger of becoming a celebrity. Most will love you as long as you are neutral or not involved in some unfavorable event, even if it's not your fault.

Modern society is like that. We should look in this same mirror, and rethink if we really want to become influencers overnight (in case anyone wants to be one).

But that family, that family is unforgivable. I understand that outsiders are scared and want to stay away from you, but your loved ones abandoning you at the most difficult moment is the lowest blow that can be given to someone.

He was not a murderer, he was not a rapist, at least not in reality. Dreams are dreams, and that's where it should all stay. One thing I must point out, and that is that the idea that people are traumatized by having one or two nightmares is a bit exaggerated.

Perhaps the script was painted to make the nightmares so vivid, so that the terror of the inhabitants would justify the hatred towards the protagonist.

Masterful Nicolas Cage. I'm not a big fan of his films in the past, but the last few installments he's given us have been spectacular (Longless for example).

I welcome the A24, as no film from this studio has disappointed me. Now go to sleep, and wait for me in your dreams.

I really enjoyed the story and the way they were telling it, and I agree with you, is a little exaggerated to be traumatized and even more, to damage a person's property and causing physical harm to somebody just because you had some wicked nightmare. However, I believe that was the intention in order the story to be so intense as it was. Great film, and awesome acting performance from Nicolas Cage.

Honestly, I don't think this is one of Nicolas Cage's best works (obviously there are many better ones), but I still suppose it shouldn't be forgotten. Because it's one of those cases that, no matter how bizarre and unfortunate they may be, they teach you some very good life lessons, especially about how to view today's society. The issue of bullying is something that should not be dismissed, as well as the issue of intra-family, parental and couple responsibilities. You can also see examples of how self-centeredness, jealousy, and hatred can play tricks on you in life and cause you to go through many embarrassments like those experienced by the protagonist of this film.

Good review.

Shure. You have your own opinion. Cage isn't one of my favorites. But I recognize that this work touches me
