El documental de 2016, de género drama criminal, policial y periodístico, dura 1 hora y media, la proyección fluye, nada pesada. El crimen ocurre en Peruggia, Italia en 2007; asesinan a Meredith Kercher, una chica británica; los sospechosos, dos jóvenes, una extrajera estudiante norteamericana y un italiano. Amanda Knox (acusada), empieza el rodaje, explica lo sucedido; emito un juicio personal, la sentí fría y triste al relatar el homicidio, pero ya sé que el film te lleva a divagar por los diversos rincones de la duda. También se escucha las ideas del periodista Nick Pisa, él justifica su papel amarillista para obtener la primicia sin respetar el proceso de investigación policial; nuevamente, aporto mi posición, en cuanto al periodista, un sujeto de ego alto, según él, el acento, le llevó a los tabloides al crear un titular llamativo, debido a las características del crimen.
Selecting a genre of visual projection will depend on the personal or external circumstances that lead you to decide what to watch. This time, I confess, I chose the documentary because of the title, curiosity got the better of me because the name has a sentimental meaning. I read the synopsis, I assumed it was just another documentary, about a real life crime, which is still frightening, and the result managed to surprise me. Lately, I have seen different documentaries, all directed differently, and the film Amanda Knox details a media murder that shocked the world, and involved three countries; the cinematography is presented in a conventional way, but the purpose of the director, is to let the viewer make the final decision, although there is one.
The 2016 documentary, crime drama, police and journalistic genre, lasts 1 hour and a half, the projection flows, nothing heavy. The crime takes place in Peruggia, Italy in 2007; Meredith Kercher, a British girl, is murdered; the suspects, two young men, a foreign American student and an Italian. Amanda Knox (accused), starts the shooting, explains what happened; I make a personal judgment, I felt her cold and sad when she tells the story of the murder, but I know that the film leads you to wander through the various corners of doubt. You also hear the ideas of the journalist Nick Pisa, he justifies his yellowish role to get the scoop without respecting the police investigation process; again, I bring my position, as for the journalist, a subject of high ego, according to him, the accent, led him to the tabloids by creating a flashy headline, due to the characteristics of the crime.
Tenemos al inspector, la autoridad narra su postura del significado de ser investigador y ser un profesional apasionado de Sherlock Holmes. Hombre que dirigió el proceso de investigación en recaudar las evidencias para dar con el criminal. En el documental está Sollecito, la pareja de Amanda Knox; mi percepción de él, una persona que no transmite malicia, sin embargo, está en el ojo del huracán del hecho. Hay abogados que justifican para defender los hechos de señalamientos o para señalar, es decir, buscar los recursos legales para derrumbar las hipótesis o teoría del asesinato o construir el suceso terrible.

Otro punto que resalta el documental Amanda Knox, es la posición de tres países que discuten la seriedad de la investigación, en especial Italia y USA, la diplomacia se desmorona, usan palabras discriminatorias y ofensivas los dos países.
El documental pone en la palestra la manera de actuar de los medios de comunicación, la ética profesional se quiebra para llevar la información y reafirmar que el primero que avanza con la noticia es notable. Este pensamiento se ve reflejado en el público cuando se deja afectar por la información y empieza el morbo, el repudio y brota odio en la población que sigue la noticia.
We have the inspector, the authority narrates his position of the meaning of being an investigator and being a passionate professional of Sherlock Holmes. A man who led the investigation process in gathering the evidence to find the criminal. In the documentary there is Sollecito, Amanda Knox's partner; my perception of him, a person who does not transmit malice, however, he is in the eye of the hurricane of the fact. There are lawyers who justify to defend the facts or to point out, that is to say, to look for legal resources to demolish the hypothesis or theory of the murder or to construct the terrible event.
I liked the documentary, the organization of the interviews, the videos and the photos that take you through the passages of the history of the murder; I was also impressed by the opinions of those who have nothing to do with the murder and who obfuscate to defend the "truth". It is difficult to be objective, the thriller leads you to ask questions about the behavior of the accused and those who accuse them. Another point that stands out in the documentary Amanda Knox, is the position of three countries that argue about the seriousness of the investigation, especially Italy and USA, diplomacy crumbles, both countries use discriminatory and offensive words.
The documentary brings to the forefront the way the media act, the professional ethics break down to carry the information and reaffirm that the first one to advance with the news is remarkable. This thought is reflected in the public when they allow themselves to be affected by the information and start with morbidity, repudiation and hatred in the population that follows the news.
En definitiva, el documental se enfoca en los puntos ya mencionados y deja bajo perfil a la familia de la chica asesinada y de los acusados; en otras palabras, las imágenes o grabaciones fueron breves al respecto; a diferencia de la protagonista del escándalo, Amanda Knox, quien se hizo famosa bajo circunstancias desfavorables y el film tiene por título su nombre. ¿Por qué debo ver Amanda Knox? Si te gustan los documentales de crimen basados en hechos reales es para ti. Si estás interesado en el final, tienes que aclarar las ideas para recibir la noticia e inclinarte por una postura, difícil no dudar, disgustarse y ser receptivo. Asimismo, si reprochas la conducta periodista ambiciosa, aquí observarás cómo las reglas se rompen, la vanidad prevalece. Por último, Amanda Knox es un documental, que pintó como dos culturas internacionales se enfrentan y se miden en conocimiento legal y de investigación.
I am grateful that the documentary does not share strong images, although there are descriptions of the event; on the other hand, the documentary made a scan of the fact, sequences of images from beginning to end, I suppose with adaptations; the projection did not extend in the trial and the interviewees did not go in order to the progress of the drama, rather it was alternate for the moviegoer to assimilate the data and create a judgment on the matter. The documentary Amanda Knox, the dramatic and criminal story, was combined with a beautiful shooting in an emblematic city, picturesque and rich in history, the city served as a dish to present the scandal of a young British woman murdered, attractive news according to the circumstances as the motive of death was shared.
In short, the documentary focuses on the aforementioned points and leaves the family of the murdered girl and the accused low profile; in other words, the images or recordings were brief in this regard; unlike the protagonist of the scandal, Amanda Knox, who became famous under unfavorable circumstances and the film is titled after her name. Why should I watch Amanda Knox? If you like crime documentaries based on true events it's for you. If you are interested in the ending, you have to clear your head to receive the news and lean towards a position, difficult not to doubt, to be disgusted and receptive. Also, if you reproach ambitious journalist behavior, here you will observe how the rules are broken, vanity prevails. Finally, Amanda Knox is a documentary, which painted how two international cultures clash and measure each other in legal and investigative knowledge.

I have not seen the documentary, but I did know and followed the case of Amanda Knox and her time in jail until she was released. The last I knew of Knox was a controversy on social networks, where she fought with a journalist who published a report about her and when a movie was released last year with Matt Demon, where there is a small similarity with her case, but for me it was very different. I'm going to look for the documentary to watch it.

This documentary has its supporters and detractors. The only extra new thing I share is this information because the TV series I didn't finish watching, I didn't like it and it talked about this crime drama. For my taste, the documentary was good and this time I felt that feeling that you don't know what to believe, that's why the reviews support the film.
