Sobran películas para ver, por tanto, saber elegir la correcta para lograr el mejor clímax del entretenimiento; como también aprender conceptos de vida desde un orden ficticio o real, es una lotería. Escribir sobre una producción audiovisual significa que deja una postura relevante para compartir los puntos fuertes o débiles; claro, también hay que considerar la preferencia del espectador en relación con el género, tema, dirección y perspectiva; por consiguiente, la producción que hoy traigo me mantuvo activa durante la trama; me provocó desagrado y admiración por los resultados que conlleva dar un juicio valorativo. El tópico experimentado se ha visto en otros films, pero me agradó mucho lo estético y el reparto actoral de la cinta Los caballeros.

El film fue estrenado en el 2019; el director, Guy Ritchie, decide transmitir una realidad ficticia de manera sofisticada de un mercado ilegal y lo que concierne mantenerla. En contexto, el jefe de un negocio de droga de alta reputación, decide vender la compañía a una familia de "prestigio"; sin embargo, la venta no sale como se espera. Es aquí donde el director usa el ingenio que lo caracteriza para presentar escenas y argumentos de tilde mafiosos, enérgicos y diálogos cargados de frenesí, percibidos en películas como SNATCH, Sherlock Homes, El rey Arturo, entre otros.

There are plenty of movies to watch, therefore, knowing how to choose the right one to achieve the best entertainment climax, as well as learning concepts of life from a fictional or real order, is a lottery. Writing about an audiovisual production means that it leaves a relevant position to share the strong or weak points; of course, one must also consider the preference of the viewer in relation to the genre, theme, direction and perspective; therefore, the production that I bring today kept me active during the plot; it caused me dislike and admiration for the results that entail giving an evaluative judgment. The experience has been seen in other films, but I was very pleased with the aesthetics and the cast of The Gentlemen.

The film was released in 2019. The director, Guy Ritchie, decides to convey a fictional reality in a sophisticated way about an illegal market and what it takes to maintain it. In context, the head of a highly reputable drug business decides to sell the company to a "prestigious" family; however, the sale does not go as expected. It is here where the director uses his characteristic ingenuity to present scenes and plots with a mafia edge and energetic and frenzied dialogues, as perceived in films such as SNATCH, Sherlock Homes, King Arthur, among others.

Voy a empezar por mencionar que las imágenes y fotografías creadas poseen un estilo estético exquisito, puesto que, los escenarios, vestimentas, diálogos comparte un mundo elegante, la maldad es pintada en lugares hermosos; es decir, lo incorrecto está disfrazado por colores oscuros, dorados, neutros, antiguos, paisajes ingleses bellos que luego hacen contraste con lo moderno, pero la verdad sale a la luz entre sujetos y espacios para rendir o hacer justicia entre ellos, sin mostrar escenas sangrientas. Los planos siempre enfocan al personaje, lo que expresa que cada uno juega un rol importante en la historia sin importar lo breve o extenso de la aparición.

El ritmo de la película es dinámica, la historia es contada por una persona involucrada en los hechos, entonces los bucles del tiempo sobre la oferta del negocio va dibujando la trama y las acciones te hacen anticipar posibles desenlaces y sorprenderte en otras. Nunca hubo desilusión hacia la trama porque además había diálogos poderosos; la narración posee un estilo sarcástico que le da humor a la historia y la frase que describe al personaje principal para explicar la trama no tiene misterio. Los diálogos cargados de inteligencia, pausa, distinción, competitividad, travesura y locuacidad hacen un intercambio interesante de los hechos turbios en palabras de caballeros que "trabajan" al margen de la ley. La música es fabulosa, no solo los efectos especiales de armas, puertas, copas, sino sonidos que atrapan al espectador; además, el rap otorga la adrenalina de algunos participantes que se convierten en garantes de vida.

Since the scenery, clothing, and dialogues share an elegant world, evil is painted in beautiful places; that is, the wrong is disguised by dark colors, gold, neutrals, antiques, and beautiful English landscapes that then contrast with the modern, but the truth comes to light between subjects and spaces to render or do justice to each other without showing bloody scenes. The shots always focus on the character, which expresses that each one plays an important role in the story, no matter how brief or extensive the appearance.

The rhythm of the film is dynamic, the story is told by a person involved in the events, then the time loops on the business offer are drawing the plot, and the actions make you anticipate possible outcomes and surprise you in others. There was never any disappointment towards the plot because there were also powerful dialogues; the narration has a sarcastic style that gives humor to the story, and the phrase that describes the main character to explain the plot has no mystery. The dialogues loaded with intelligence, pause, distinction, competitiveness, mischief and loquacity make for an interesting exchange of shady deeds in the words of gentlemen who "work" on the fringes of the law. The music is fabulous—not only the special effects of guns, doors, and glasses, but the sounds that catch the viewer; in addition, the rap gives the adrenaline of some participants who become guarantors of life.

En cuanto al reparto actoral, estuve completamente satisfecha, tengo mis preferidos porque lograron que ame a los delincuentes en una historia de Capo sofisticado. La participación de Matthew McConaughey, nuevamente revela que es bueno actuando, dueño del imperio de la droga, Michael Pearson, es un visionario sereno, estratega, seguro de sí, que se adelanta a los hechos; muchos le respetan y está locamente enamorado de su esposa Rosalind Pearson. Quien es la actriz Michelle Dockery, hace el papel de una esposa poderosa que también aprende y se lucra de su esposo, no es presa fácil; es una mujer moderna, elegante, decidida en hacer dinero. Otro favorito que me encantó, Charlie Hunnam, asume el papel de Raymond S. Hombre calmado, observador, con un tono de voz suave que actúa de manera comedida y al mismo tiempo rompen con la imagen, no es más que la mano derecha de Michael Pearson.

También cuenta la cinta con la actuación de un actor que me gusta, logra exagerar los roles que ha estado acostumbrado y le encaja perfecto. El actor Hugh Grant, es Fletcher, un espía de la mafia moderna que se aprovecha de datos y lo comparte con picardía, le da el toque divertido a la proyección. Después está Colin Farrell, quedé fascinada por la ejecución de su rol, interpreta un personaje de fachada social humilde para hacer trabajos indecoroso, llamado el Coach. Ejecuta tareas impecables, las cuales son agradecidas, también dirige un equipo de jóvenes para realizar encomiendas. Jeremy Strong es otro actor en el reparto, asume a Matthew, adinerado que transmite desagrado por el comportamiento de ego que desea derrumbar el negocio en venta.

Hay mucho talento que conforman el elenco de esta excelente película, entre ellos, Eddie Marsan, envía señales de soberbia y envidia, su trabajo es condena porque lo usa para perjudicare; Henry Golding, también observo que sale de actuaciones recurrentes para representar a un ambicioso que no sabe con quién se mete y termina mal; asimismo, la participación del rapero Bugzy Malone, quien logra desde sus conocimientos musicales crear un ambiente creíble para compartir. En fin, son muchas actuaciones meritorias para configurar una peli de Traficantes notables.

The film also features the performance of an actor I like, he manages to exaggerate the roles he has been used to, and it fits him perfectly. En realidad no me desagrada ver nuevamente las características del director porque me vendió el crimen organizado por señores que se apoyan del linaje como el mejor bunker para el negocio de la marihuana, todo es posible en el séptimo arte y sirve para hacer una postal interesante.

Why should I see The Gentlemen? For those who love Guy Ritchie's direction, it is an art for the viewer who knows the style and knows that he will find violence, fun and verbose speech. It is likely to be a repeated theme for some, but I assure you that the difference is made by the image, which gives softness to the onslaught of the theme and catches you in the thread of the story. Actually, I do not dislike seeing the characteristics of the director again because he sold me on organized crime by gentlemen who rely on the lineage as the best bunker for the marijuana business. Everything is possible in the seventh art and serves to make an interesting postcard.
