I didn’t have so much expectation of this movie but I’m honestly glad I watched it. Other people might have their different opinions of this movie but I really enjoyed it. It was a good and humorous watch.

Mason Pettitis(John Cena) was an ex special forces guy who was medically discharged after an incident in a country called Paldonia. He became a lawyer, who was uninterested and bored with his job. Which is expected from someone who was once in the force.
One day, he got a call from an old friend and colleague offering him a job as a bodyguard for a celebrity journalist Claire Wellington as she travels to Paldonia to interview the President, Juan Venegas. Paldonia was in the middle of a political war at the time, things went south for them the moment they got into the country.

The favorite characters are Cena and the President, I can’t decide who I liked better from the two but I enjoy seeing them together. I found it so hilarious how annoying President Venegas was and how much it got to Cena. He was clearly fed up with him but it was like they were destined for each other lol.

Honestly, at some point, I was wondering if President Venegas was mentally stable. Even in the midst of the crisis, he always acted and spoke calmly as though everything was fine and going according to plan.

I simply loved everything the movie represented but I was there for the action and they delivered. The action scenes were really good, not like I expected anything less seeing John Cena. I like how they were able to blend simple, action, romance and humor. It was a serious movie but it wasn’t exactly a serious movie, they’re scenes where people died and it wasn’t the usual sad feeling, you just want to keep watching because you know it’s a movie. I enjoyed this about it.

It kind of felt as though Claire’s character existed to give balance to Cena and Venegas’s characters. Regardless, she did a good job. She was a strong willed lady who wanted something different for herself instead of accepting people’s opinion of her career. And it all worked out for her when she managed to get an exclusive interview with President Venegas, which is something no reporter has been able to do.

Someone that got me a little stressed out was Cena’s wife. Even though I understood that she was just being concerned for her husband, I felt she was being too stiff and a bit inconsiderate. Maybe if they had threw more light on the good relationship they had before all the issues came about, it would have made her more acceptable in my eyes.

It was good it didn’t end like you’d expect it to. Not the regular romantic ending. It was straight to the point. I did not dislike anything about this movie, I just simply enjoyed the good entertainment it offered.

I had a good watch and if I were to rate, I’d give it an 8.
