After giving it a thought, I decided to write something.
A Little something on Leadership.

Leadership is no easy feat. You have to be ready for the heat and if you can’t stand the heat, then don’t enter the kitchen. Always prepare to be misunderstood no matter how much you explain and hated because you were misunderstood.

It’s impossible to please everyone as a leader, you can only do your best. There’s a popular saying,

As a leader, if you want to please everybody, then start selling icecream.

I don’t even think an Ice cream seller still pleases everyone. It’s just another way of saying that no matter what you do, they’ll be people who’ll talk, condemn, complain and feel like they can do it better. Leadership is most times a lonely path.

The people who really see you are the ones closest to you. Sometimes you wish you could open your heart for the world to see. But will that satisfy them?
Will that make them call you a good leader?

Everyone has an opinion and an advice to offer and sometimes when you don’t take those advice they claimed to have offered in good conscience, they add an another red X to your name.
Have the guts to make a decision and stand by it. Do what is right no matter what anyone says or thinks.
Most Importantly don’t let the position get to your head, remember leadership is a position and you must fit into that position or you’ll be like a child wearing an oversized crown.
