ABRACADABRA 2 | HOCUS POCUS

Tenía que empezar con esta película, la primera marcó mi infancia (y puedo asegurar que la de muchos también) y aunque al principio no le tuve fe por ser una continuación de una película que de por si ya era perfecta, la verdad me gustó mucho y hasta a mi esposo también a tal punto que cantamos las canciones juntos y eso es algo raro en el jajaja.

La historia comienza cuando tres chicas en Salem despiertan accidentalmente a las brujas durante la noche de Halloween y desde ese momento empieza toda la locura. Hay hechizos, canciones, humor y, sobretodo mucha magia.

Y lo más bonito es ver el final que nos dieron, nos encontramos con una faceta diferente de las hermanas Sanderson que muestra un lado totalmente diferente de ellas, uno más humano y sensible. Es una escena que deja un mensaje precioso sobre el amor, la unión y el valor de la familia por encima de cualquier otra cosa.

La verdad es que la pasé bien viendola y por eso ahora es una infaltable en estas fechas. Luego de ver la primera película obviamente jajaja.

I had to start with this movie, as the first one marked my childhood (and I'm sure many others' as well). Although I wasn't convinced at first because it was a sequel to a movie that was already perfect, I actually really liked it, and even my husband enjoyed it so much that we sang the songs together, which is unusual for him, haha.

The story begins when three girls in Salem accidentally wake up the witches on Halloween night, and from that moment on, all hell breaks loose. There are spells, songs, humor, and, above all, lots of magic.

And the best part is the ending they gave us, where we see a different side of the Sanderson sisters, a totally different side of them, one that is more human and sensitive. It's a scene that leaves a beautiful message about love, unity, and the value of family above all else.

I really enjoyed watching it, which is why it's now a must-see at this time of year. After watching the first movie, of course, ha ha ha.

BRUJILLIZAS | TWITCHES

No se ustedes pero, Brujillizas me trae demasiada nostalgía. Es de esas peliculas que uno puede verse mil veces sin cansarse (en mi caso en cada temporada de halloween las vuelvo a ver siempre con la misma emocioción, capaz en meses diferentes también jajaja).

La historia sigue a dos hermanas gemelas interpretadas por Tia y Tamera Mowry, que fueron separadas al nacer y que justo el dia que cumplen 21 años descubren que son hermanas y no solo eso, que tambien son brujas.

Juntas deben aprender a usar sus poderes y enfrentarse a la oscuridad que amenaza el reino de donde ellas vienen realmente. Amo mucho esta película (bueno, todas las de este top jajja), es divertida, mágica y muy Disney Channel de los 2000, cada vez que la veo mi niña interior está feliz. Veanla, seguro la disfrutaran tanto como yo.

I don't know about you, but Twitches Act makes me feel really nostalgic. It's one of those movies you can watch a thousand times without getting tired of it (in my case, I watch it again every Halloween season with the same excitement, maybe even in different months too, ha ha ha).

The story follows twin sisters played by Tia and Tamera Mowry, who were separated at birth and discover on their 21st birthday that they are sisters and not only that, but they are also witches.

Together, they must learn to use their powers and face the darkness that threatens the kingdom where they really come from. I love this movie so much (well, all of the ones on this list, ha ha), it's fun, magical, and very Disney Channel 2000s. Every time I watch it, my inner child is happy. Watch it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

HALLOWEENTOWN

Esta creo que es una de las películas más viejitas de mi top pero es bastante especial. Es un clásico en estas fechas que simplemente no envejece (a pesar de ser de 1998). Marnie, la protagonista, descubre que viene de una familia de brujas y que existe un lugar secreto donde viven monstruos, fantasmas y todo tipo de criaturas mágicas.

Desde la primera vez que la vi, me enamoré de ese mundo colorido, lleno de mágia y con personajes tan divertidos. Esta es una saga de 4 películas y si todavia no la han visto, las recomiendo al 100%.

I think this is one of the oldest movies on my list, but it's quite special. It's a classic for this time of year that simply never gets old (despite being from 1998). Marnie, the main character, discovers that she comes from a family of witches and that there is a secret place where monsters, ghosts, and all kinds of magical creatures live.

From the first time I saw it, I fell in love with that colorful world, full of magic and such fun characters. This is a series of four films, and if you haven't seen them yet, I recommend them 100%.

Estas tres películas son la mezcla perfecta entre mágia, diversión y nostalgía. No importa la edad que tengamos, siempre volvemos a ellas y nos permiten sentir nuevamente esa emoción de Halloween con risas, hechizos y un toque de fantasía que solo disney puede darnos.

Así que ya sabes, prepara tus palomitas, ponte algo cómodo y vive una noche mágica en familia.

These three films are the perfect blend of magic, fun, and nostalgia. No matter how old we are, we always come back to them, allowing us to relive the excitement of Halloween with laughter, spells, and a touch of fantasy that only Disney can give us.

So, you know what to do: pop some popcorn, get comfortable, and enjoy a magical night with your family.
