This film demonstrates the versatility of actor Tom Hanks, who plays a man tired of living in a cruel world that surrounds him and in this way reunites on another plane with his recently deceased wife.

Otto lives in a suburban neighborhood of Pittsburgh, he is one of those people who is strict with rules and routines and that is not something that has helped him in his journey, because in a world where everything seems to do things improvised is a nuisance someone so formal.

One day his life changes when a new family moves to the front of his house and the vivacious character of the young woman attracts him and makes him change slowly, however he tries to commit suicide on several occasions unsuccessfully.

The script of this film is based on the book "A Man Called Ove", by Fredrik Backman, published in 2012 and adapted by David Magee, while the direction is by Marc Forster, who had directed the film Kites in the Sky and World War Z and won the Laterna Magica award at the Venice International Film Festival in 2004 for the film Finding Neverland.

The critics' opinion has been good and the public's much better as it has grossed over $100 million in four months, surpassing the production cost of $50 million.

Along with Hank, the film co-stars Mexican actress Mariana Treviño as Marisol, the neighbor whose insistence brings out Otto's compassion and kindness that hides behind his grumpy character, Manuel Garcia Rulfo as Tommy, the husband of the former, and Rachel Keller as Sonya.

This film combines different emotions and feelings, among them sadness and humor with excellent scenes and very well done cinematography.

It is an entertaining option to watch with the family, simple, without special effects but with an additional message, the good and bad use of social networks.

I highly recommend it as it reflects a current society where exclusion is gaining ground to coexistence.
