The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival on August 29, 2019 and was released theatrically in the United States on September 20, 2019, grossed $127 million worldwide against a budget of $100 million.

Personally, I thought it handled some interesting themes but it was very slow and the special effects were not the best.
