This is a drama film directed by Emily Ting, who made her feature film debut in this role and wrote the screenplay.

The plot is based on the chance meeting of two young people in the city of Hong Kong, a young American who has self-expatriated to the city named Josh, played by Bryan Greenberg, known for his role as Ben Epstein in the HBO series How to Make It in America, and a young Chinese American who is visiting the city for the first time on business.

She has to meet up with some friends and meets him who offers to give her a lift because of how complicated it is for a visitor to find her way around, so Ruby, the young woman's name, played by Jamie Chung who had played small roles in film and TV and this film was her first starring role, who is a toy designer, becomes entwined in a sharing of experiences with him.

They say goodbye and the following year they also coincidentally meet again and spend a day and night together doing some things they both have to do and they realise that there is empathy and attraction between them but there is a problem, they are both engaged to different people.

The cinematography by Josh Silfen is excellent and shows the splendour of the Chinese city at night, and the dialogue is fluid and reminiscent of the theatre, but the film also shows certain local customs.

It is easy to follow the conversation and the journey of the two and the unexpected ending surprises us.

It was released in June 2015 and the opinion of the spectators was good, highlighting the naturalness of the dialogues, a script that is not so conventional or framed within the classic parameters of romance films and the beauty and sympathy that it transmits.

It was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, Best Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Sarasota International Film Festival, the New Orleans Film Festival and the Philadelphia Film Festival.

As a curious fact, the couple had been dating for three years in real life and married in October 2015 after the film's release.
