This is a film that mixes science fiction with drama and some comedy, directed by Marc Turtletaub, who moved from finance to film and had directed the 2018 film Puzzle, an English-language remake of the 2010 Argentinian film, the screenplay by Gavin Steckler.

The plot of the film revolves around a flying saucer that crashes in the backyard of a grumpy old man, in a small town in western Pennsylvania and the man's relationship with it which then drifts into a more group one with a group of local people, who are influenced by the visitor whom they call Jules.

The main cast includes Ben Kingsley as Milton, the old man where the saucer landed, who won an Oscar in 1983 for his role in the film Gandhi, Jane Curtin as Joyce, Harriet Sansom Harris as Sandy, Zoë Winters as Milton's daughter Denise and Jade Quon as Jules, the alien, who used 11 individual prosthetics, all created by Joshua Turi, winner of three Emmy Awards for his work in the comedy show Saturday Night Live, or SNL, to play the role.

Although with slow scenes, the film develops with good performances, especially that of Kingsley, who looks immersed in the character he plays from the beginning, in a simple script that many associate with the participation of elderly people with the movie Cocoon.

The film premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival on March 22, 2023 and in theaters in August of the same year, getting mixed reactions from critics and viewers alike, with many saying it is empathetic and revolves around the rediscovery of one's humanity through a supernatural emotional connection.

The box office in a few days since its release is already around 2 million.

Personally, it fulfills its mission to entertain and contains many hidden teachings.
