An exceptional animated film that I recommend watching without reservation. It maintains the sense of humor and unique charisma of each character, making it an entertaining experience.
While it is less surprising and its story is more “conventional” compared to other installments, it manages to reserve some surprises in the script that end up offering a very worthy adventure of theft and action.

In its structure and development, the plot is quite reminiscent of the Fast and Furious saga; in fact, some scenes seem almost like a direct reference to those films. Animation continues to be a strong point for DreamWorks, which seems to be taking the lead in this industry (I am still amazed by their work in “Robot Savages”).
Although it does not revolutionize the genre in terms of narrative or aesthetics, it manages to stand out thanks to the charisma of its characters, a pleasant pace, and an attractive visual design, which incorporates the use of frames in a style reminiscent of stop motion.
The result is action with a strong personality: frenetic, well executed, and with truly spectacular sequences. The film successfully blends a heist adventure with dynamic action scenes and an intelligent comedic tone that works both in the dialogue and in visual devices, such as editing and breaking the fourth wall.

It even takes some humorous liberties with more mature or double-entendre jokes, which are designed to go unnoticed by younger viewers, although they may be perceived as somewhat risqué by other viewers.
From my perspective, it may not reach the same level of energy or freshness as the first part, but it is still a highly recommended option for enjoying at the cinema and having a good time.

Ahhh. I keep seeing this as I go on ads. I would definitely watch it now. I enjoyed the first part a lot, time to see what the second part brings.
I liked the first one better, but this one keeps up the pace and makes us smile more than once.

To be honest, I've seen edits about this movie on my Instagram. I've watched The Bad guys 1 and I loved it, the comedy, action and drama. I should probably see this one.
