Denis es un ladrón y estafador que debe dinero a un hombre peligroso y para saldar la deuda tiene que irrumpir en la casa de Raimund, un hombre millonario que acaba de tener un accidente quedando sin poder caminar y sin hablar.

Cuando Denis esta en casa del viejo Raimund tratando de abrir una caja fuerte llega su nieta Charlotte quien piensa que Dennis es el enfermero que cuidará a su abuelo. Pero Denis no aguanta atender a Raimund y decide irse pero lo detiene una tormenta de nieve que no lo deja salir de la casa. Esto provoca que Denis y Charlotte pasen mas tiempo juntos, se acerquen mas y nazca una quimica entre ambos.
