I think the hardest thing to ponder upon from a social perspective, is the worth of a human in light of technology... while the movie portrays it from a genetic perspective and the technology to engineer 'better humans'... we can all relate from an additional perspective - of being replaced by AI, and automation...

So no only will we be valued based on genetic lottery, but also we are faced with question of weather there is anything we can contribute better than AI.
