Anyone But You (Review)

Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are doing well. As always the weekends are for relaxing and watching something we like, this weekend I had the opportunity to pass the stress generated by the power cuts with Anyone But You, a rather curious romantic comedy.

Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien. Como siempre los fines de semana son para poder relajarse y poder ver algo que nos guste, este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de pasar el estrés que me genero los cortes eléctrico con Anyone But You una comedia romántica bastante curiosa.

With Everyone But You is a 2023 production which outside the U.S. opens in late January of this year, the story features Sydney Sweeney (Bea), Glen Powell (Ben), Darren Bernet (Jonathan), Alexandra Shipp (Claudia), Charlee Fraser (Margaret), Hadley Robison (Halle) among other candidates.

Con todos menos contigo es una producción del 2023 la cual fuera de Estados Unidos se estrenos a finales de Enero de este año, la historia cuenta con la interpretación de Sydney Sweeney (Bea), Glen Powell (Ben), Darren Bernet (Jonathan), Alexandra Shipp (Claudia), Charlee Fraser (Margaret), Hadley Robison (Halle) entre otros candidatos.

The story is about Bea and Ben two people who met in a coffee shop and had a click, they both spend a very nice night but everything goes wrong when Bea leaves while Ben is asleep and after he regrets and comes back he hears him say that she is a disaster to other friends. Six months later they meet again as Bea's sister and a friend of Ben's are getting married, causing them to travel to Australia What could happen?

La historia es de Bea y Ben dos personas que se conocieron en una cafetería y tuvieron un click, ambos pasan una noche muy bonita pero todo sale mal cuando Bea se va mientras Ben está dormido y después que se arrepiente y regresa lo escucha decir que ella es un desastre a otros amigos. Seis meses se reencuentran ya que la hermana de Bea y una amiga de Ben se van a casar, haciendo que viajen a Australia ¿Qué podía pasar?

I'm dying for Enemy to Lovers I feel it's the cliché I love the most in the world, when I started watching it I could feel the Click between both actors there is a great chemistry from the beginning plus it has a good script, I love it since they met and I didn't expect that to be a pattern throughout the story, because they can make subtle jokes to become rude but without being so vulgar.

Me muero por el Enemy to Lovers siento que es el cliché que más amo del mundo, cuando comencé a verla pude sentir el Click entre ambos actores se siente una gran química desde el principio además de que tiene un buen guion, me rey desde que se conocieron y no esperaba que eso fuera un patrón a lo largo de la historia, porque pueden hacer dese chistes sutiles hasta llegar a ser groseros pero sin ser tan vulgares.

The characters that we can find have their patterns, without a doubt what I liked the most is that they are not perfect at all, I can even assure that they can be irritable, we don't find a damsel in distress but we don't find a charming prince either. In the whole movie we can see that they look like cats and dogs hahaha but that's what's charming, I guess what attracts this kind of movies is the way we know it's going to end and how the story makes to get to that point, which is a point in favor of this film.

]Los personajes que podemos encontrar tienen sus patrones, sin duda lo que más me gusto es que no son perfectos en nada hasta puedo asegurar que llegan ser irritables, no encontramos a un a una damisela en apuros pero tampoco encontramos a un príncipe encantador. En toda la película podemos ver que parecen perros y gatos jajaja pero eso es lo encantador, supongo que lo que atrae de este tipo de películas es la forma en que sabemos que va a terminar y como la historia hace para llegar a ese punto, cosa que es un punto a favor de este filme.

In terms of romance, even though they don't like each other, it's combined with another cliché I love, fake relationships...it always makes me laugh when he tries to justify this kind of relationships to push away or attract other people as if they don't require what is called dialogue, but I think this movie does very well because they are both people who have characteristics that favor the situation.

En términos de romance a pesar de que se caen mal esta combinado con otro cliché que amo, la relaciones falsas…siempre me da gracia que intenta justificar este tipo de relaciones para alejar o atraer a otras personas como si no exigieran lo que se llama dialogo, pero creo que a esta película va muy bien ya que ambos son personas que tiene características que favorecen a la situación.

I think what I liked the least was that they could have shown more of the characters as they both have insecurities, Bea is someone who feels she has been controlled and was doing things she doesn't like and wasn't passionate about but for a while now she has been trying to fix that like quitting law school and ending up with an overwhelmingly perfect boyfriend, On the other hand Ben is someone who runs away from things that he feels that move him because he does not want someone he really loves to leave him, something that happened to him with his ex-girlfriend and the death of his mother, there were moments that showed these things but only by brushstrokes.

Creo que lo que menos me gusto fue que pudieron mostrar más de los personajes ya que ambos tienen inseguridades, Bea es alguien que siente que ha sido controlada y hacia cosas que no le gusta y tampoco apasionaba pero desde un tiempo para acá intenta poder solucionar eso como dejando la carrera de Derecho y terminando con un novio agobiantemente perfecto, por otro lado Ben es alguien que huye de las cosas que siente que lo mueven ya que no quiere que alguien que ama de verdad lo deje, cosa que le paso con su ex novia y la muerte de su madre, había momentos que mostraban estas cosas pero solo por pinceladas.

So Anyone But You is a romantic comedy, it is not a work of art but does not fail in its goal which is to entertain and like the couple to celebrate that they are together, I would give it a 7.5/10 `and well here below I will leave the trailer of the film for you to check it out, kisses.

Por eso Anyone But You es una comedia romántica, no es una obra de arte pero no falla en su objetivo que es entretener y gustarle la pareja para celebrar que quedan juntos, le daría un 7.5/10 `y bueno aquí abajito les dejare el tráiler de la película para que la chequen, besitos.
