Good's Not Dead (Review)

El día de hoy quiero venir hablarles sobre una película cristiana la cual vi porque el titulo me llamo la atención “Dios No Está Muerto”, este es un filme que nos hacen reflexionar sobre la existencia de Dios aunque en lo personal no me termino de convencer, quiero aclarar que es mi opinión y mi intención nunca será ofender a nadie.
Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are doing well. Today I want to talk to you about a Christian film which I saw because the title caught my attention "God Is Not Dead", this is a film that makes us reflect on the existence of God although personally I am not convinced, I want to clarify that this is my opinion and my intention will never be to offend anyone.
La película cuenta con la actuaciones bastantes buenas entre los actores tenemos a Kevin Sorbo (Profesor Radisson), Shane Harper (Josh Wheaton), Benjamin Onyango (Pastor Jude), Hadeel Sittu (Ayisha), Trisha Lafache (Amy Ryan), Cory Oliver (Mina) entre otras actuaciones. La historia va de un recién ingresado a la universidad, es un joven cristiano que se mete a clases de filosofía con un profesor ateo, el cual incita a sus estudiantes a creer que Dios no existe o hipotéticamente está muerto, el joven o sea Josh se niega a decirlo o escribirlo entonces es obligado a explicar porque existe Dios y está vivo.
The film features some very good performances among the actors we have Kevin Sorbo (Professor Radisson), Shane Harper (Josh Wheaton), Benjamin Onyango (Pastor Jude), Hadeel Sittu (Ayisha), Trisha Lafache (Amy Ryan), Cory Oliver (Mina) among other performances. The story is about a recent college graduate, a young Christian who gets into philosophy classes with an atheist professor, who incites his students to believe that God does not exist or hypothetically is dead, the young man or Josh refuses to say or write it so he is forced to explain why God exists and is alive.
FuenteLa verdad sabía que era une película religiosa, siento que si no crees en Dios no es que te vayas animar a ver algo así porque no tiene sentido, yo soy católica y la verdad me agrado hasta cierto punto las maneras en las que explica las cosas y en las que nos muestran el camino de Dios, en su existencia y sobre todo en la fe, la autenticidad de ella y como a veces esta se puede llegar a desaparecer por circunstancias dolorosas, me gusto que nos mostraran varias situaciones como, la musulmana que creía en Jesus en secreto, la chica que no cree en Dios y tenía cáncer, Mina quien era una cristiana saliendo con un ateo o su hermano que estaba alejado de Dios por las cosas terrenales y creyendo que él no recompensa a los buenos, sentía que iba a ser una discusión de principio a fin sobre la existencia de Dios pero abarca muchos más puntos que eso.
The truth is that I knew it was a religious movie, I feel that if you don't believe in God, you will not be encouraged to see something like this because it makes no sense, I am Catholic and the truth is that I liked to a certain extent the ways in which it explains things and shows us the way of God, in his existence and above all in faith, the authenticity of it and how sometimes it can disappear due to painful circumstances, I liked that they showed us several situations like, the Muslim woman who believed in Jesus in secret, the girl who did not believe in God and had cancer, Mina who was a Christian dating an atheist or her brother who was far from God because of earthly things and believing that he does not reward the good ones, I felt that it was going to be a discussion from beginning to end about the existence of God but it covers many more points than that.
FuenteEl conflicto principal es entre el maestro y el alumno, Josh me pareció el modelo de cristiano ejemplar, aquel que no negaría sus creencias por nada y eso me parece muy bien porque nos presenta una situación en la cual una persona promedio solo haría lo que pide el profesor, por eso lo considero un personaje valiente y perseverante, el cual además de buscar la palabra también se adentró a ella, por otro lado el profesor Raddison es un estereotipo de Ateo bastante marcado de cierta manera y no muy a mi gusto como el malo de la historia, en cierta manera nos hace ver como la filosofía o la ciencia no siempre es la que tiene la razón y de cierta manera también burlándose de que todos los científicos en algún momento de su vida han sido ateos, de cierta manera agradezco la justificación de la actitud sea más profunda de lo que había pensado, porque sería feo solo que lo pusieran para que fuera el malo de la historia, porque la verdad entre todos los personajes es el que mejor actuación tiene y más desarrollo también.
The main conflict is between the teacher and the student, Josh seemed to me the model of exemplary Christian, one who would not deny his beliefs for nothing and that seems to me very well because it presents a situation in which an average person would only do what the teacher asks, so I consider him a brave and persevering character, which in addition to seeking the word also went into it, on the other hand Professor Raddison is a stereotype of Atheist quite marked in some ways and not very much to my taste as the bad guy in the story, in a certain way he makes us see how philosophy or science is not always the one who is right and in a certain way also mocking that all scientists at some point in their lives have been atheists, in a way I appreciate the justification of the attitude is deeper than I had thought, because it would be ugly just to put him to be the bad guy of the story, because the truth among all the characters is the one who has the best performance and more development as well.
FuenteEs una lástima para mí, que las otras sub historias no tuvieran como un desarrollo mayor, porque me gustaron incluso siento que la parte de la musulmana que se volvió creyente es una buena base para realizar una película de manera individual, puedo decir que me desencante un poco con el final, o sea si sé que da un mensaje pero siento que es muy extremista, o tal vez porque no vi con ojos muy malos al profesor, si bien se ganó mi simpatía la reivindicación podía ser de otra manera, eso siento que le quita méritos al trabajo que incluso estaban consiguiendo al final con la historia, porque me estaba conmoviendo pero eso fue como “no puede ser”.
It is a pity for me that the other sub stories did not have a greater development, because I even liked them, I even feel that the part of the Muslim woman who became a believer is a good basis to make a film individually, I can say that I was a little disenchanted with the end, I know that it gives a message but I feel that it is very extremist, or maybe because I didn't see the professor with very bad eyes, although he won my sympathy the vindication could be otherwise, I feel that it detracts from the work that they were even getting at the end with the story, because it was moving me but it was like "no way".
FuenteEsto es una película que nos asegura de la existencia de Dios, nos muestra nuestra duda que a veces sin querer nos hacemos en momentos de dolor o en incluso cuando no encontramos sentido a la vida ¿Dios existe?¿Por qué pareciera que recompensa a los malos?¿la ciencia lo responde todo?¿Se puede cambiar? Fueron muchas las repuestas que nos intenta dar la película, solo hay que tener un buen ojo le doy un 7/10 porque la verdad ese detalle del profesor al final no me gusto de a mucho, si vieron la película que les pareció ¿Qué otra película cristiana me recomiendan?
This is a movie that assures us of the existence of God, it shows us our doubt that sometimes without wanting to we do in moments of pain or even when we do not find meaning in life, does God exist, why does it seem that he rewards the bad ones, does science answer everything, can it change? There were many answers that the movie tries to give us, you just have to have a good eye I give it a 7/10 because the truth is that detail of the teacher at the end I did not like a lot, if you saw the movie what did you think? Hola amiga @annacarstairs, vi esta película ya hace unos años, y de verdad que me gusto, me llego al corazón, concuerdo contigo con lo profesor, también vi Dios no esta muerto 2 y 3; esta la 4, pero no la he visto, y de recomendar, serian Milagros del cielo, es muy buena, y otra que para la que es para mi la mejor, La Cabaña, es un 10/10.
Sería interesante ver las otras películas, busque la sipnosis de la cabaña y me ha llamado mucho la atención, saludos 💜
