English version below

ENGLISH

hi everybody.

This time I'm going to talk to you about what in my opinion is the best sitcom ever created and one of the best series in history in general, I'm talking about SEINFELD.

Personally I never heard of it since it was created in 1989 and was on the air until 1998, I came across it by chance, one day changing channels I saw a little short of the series where they talk about the series was about "nothing" I found it super interesting and very ahead of its time, I decided to give me the opportunity to see it and I was not disappointed, literally let out guffaws of laughter every 2 by 3. The type of comedy was masterful, the characters meticulously crafted to complement each other and generate a chemistry that would make anyone could not hold the laughter, I was so impressed that in 3 weeks I saw the whole series, I could not believe that this level of comedy existed in a television series.

The series has many ingredients that ultimately end up consecrating it as one of the greats. For starters they live in New York, this city gives everything there is and to be for the development of a comedy and other genres, the diversity of cultures and opinions is giant and these characters of SEINFELD know how to take advantage of it bringing us the most everyday and real humor you can see somewhere. What unites this series so much is that it's very easy to identify with the things they go through, who hasn't been chased in a subway to steal it? Ok, that's going a bit far, but who hasn't made excuses to their boss, you know how uncomfortable you can feel, but when you see these characters going through the same uncomfortable situations you can't help but laugh. Actually the creators of this wonderful series knew that many of the jokes and dialogues they had in mind for this sitcom did not exist anywhere else, not even close, that's why everything you see in this TV show is so original.

Another very cool point of the series is that Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer are frivolous characters, even at some points evil, but they don't know it. They live justifying their bad actions instead of facing them and the amazing thing is that they know how to support each other among the four to get the most out of those situations, the thing is even funnier if they don't agree among them because there is always constant tug of war, a "healthy" prejudice and a crazy solution. But for me what got me the most was the high irony content of the series and there is nothing that proves it more than watching the last episode. It is considered by many as the best final episode of any series ever, the episode was seen by 76 million people, to give you an idea, the episode of FRIENDS had 52.5 million viewers and THE BIG BANG THEORY was seen by about 18 million people.

The series is extremely unpredictable, usually the chapters have a duration of about 20 minutes, but they know how to make plot twists in such a short time, that you are waiting for something but finally ends up happening something even better and that under no circumstances you imagined.

There will be many who do not know it, and yes, it is very difficult to believe that someone has not seen SEINFELD but if this happens maybe it is because it was on the air almost all the decade of the 90's sharing that decade with FRIENDS another colossal TV series but to tell the truth there is no point of comparison, it managed to maintain the highest level, so much so that these are some of its awards...

- Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in Television - Comedy

Beyond this I emphasize that you should give yourself the opportunity to see it because although it has been almost 31 years since its release this is and will be a cult comedy and you will see new things constantly. And if you are one of those who have already seen it, watching it again would not be bad at all.

Even though it was many years ago myself and my friends will frequently quote lines from this amazing series. We can always suss out if newcomers to our group are going to be people we will get along with if they have any idea what we are talking about.

I was a little disappointed to hear that Netflix pulled the plug on obtaining the rights to the library or passed on it or it was too expensive or whatever.

Love this show, in my top 5 of all time for sure.

Exactly, this series has influenced a lot in the culture of the united states and if you allow me also outside this country. to quote or talk about seinfeld or just spend it with your friends like they spent it in the show is just great.

When you say Seinfeld is the best sitcom ever created, I completely agree! Nothing comes close and everything that came later was significantly influenced by it.
The humor is top notch and the characters including Seinfeld were a delight to see on screen! Oh boy, I'm craving some Seinfeld again!
