SKYFALL movie was released in 2012 and it is an Action/Spy based film.
The main character in this movie is named James Bond(Daniel Craig), M(Judi Dench), Raoul Silva(Javier Bardem), Severine(Berenice Marlohe), Q(BEN Whishaw), Moneypenny(Naomie Harris), Gareth Mallory(Ralph Fiennes), Bill Tanner(Rory Kinnear), Patrice(Ola Rapace).

At the beginning of the movie, Bond arrives in a room where the bodies of other agents are lying and there is no hard disk but there is no disk. M orders Bond to catch the man who stole the disk, Bond grabbed the man and had a lot of fights with him. M orders Moneypenny to shoot the man but the bullets hit Bond's body and fall into a river.
The story is then shown three months later by declaring M James Bond dead at MI agents. This time M was called from the parliament to meet Gareth here with M and informed him that disk had stolen the details of all the agents in the world, for which he was killing agents from different countries. This is why Gareth tells M to resign, another will come in M's place, M tells Gareth that he will not leave until his work is completed. MI6 was backing the HQ at the time when the biggest blast in HQ took place and half of the MI agent was destroyed.
Bond was spotted on a news channel on a beach after being attacked at MI headquarters, so Bond returned to London. He didn't return to MI6, which is why Bond was angry with M because Moneypenny ordered M to be shoot. If there is even a one percent chance to complete the M mission, she ordered this guy to be shoot. Bond wants to complete this mission so he comes back to MI6, to give M Bond a medical test.
Gareth comes to the MI agent and introduces Bond. M says Bond has passed all the tests so he is ready to go on the mission again. Bond leaves for Shanghai but tells Q to meet him first.

Q checks Silva's location and informs Bond because he is connected to the road he was heading in. parliament M has now arrived for the meeting. The Silva Parliament comes and attacks everyone & saves M Gareth, this time Bond is arriving. That time Bond kidnaps M from here and takes him away, only Q knew this fact.
