Angel Has Fallen 2019 Film Review - The loyalty of a member of the presidential security guard to protect the president even though he has been slandered and made enemies of his country
Exciting films about American Special Forces and Secret Agents always keep us entertained with their extraordinary action. I don't want to make myself happy, after watching the film entitled Angel Has Fallen I also want to review it for my HIVERS friends.
This film, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, tells the story of the efforts of a member of the presidential security guard to repair his good name after being slandered as having attempted to assassinate the president of the United States.
This cool film stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Danny Huston and other great actors. This film received a score of 6.4 out of 10 points according to the IMDB site.
This is a review of the 2019 film Angel Has Fallen
The film begins with a member of the United States president's security guard named Mike Banning carrying out military training at a private military training facility in Virginia. Mike almost succeeded in completing the training, but he failed because he was shot by Wade Jennings.
Wade Jennings is a former Army Ranger commander and owner of a military facility training company. Wade is very impressed with Mike because no one has trained as well as Mike at his place.
Wade's subordinate, Bruno, was very angry with Mike because in training Mike seemed to kick him for real. It is reported that Mike will replace David Gentry as Director of the secret service for presidential security.
Wade hopes that Mike and his subordinates will be able to continue training there because their business is currently starting to slow down. After that, Mike secretly went to the doctor to check the disease he was currently suffering from.
Mike is known to suffer from insomnia, migraines and back pain due to an accident he experienced. Moving to the White House, Mike and the Director of the Secret Service for Presidential Security, David Gentry, are escorting the President of the United States, Allan Trumbull, to a press conference.
At the press conference, Trumbull answered all of the journalists' questions, except for one question, namely regarding the policy of expanding private companies to strengthen the American military.
After hearing that question, Trumbull immediately left the press conference with an annoyed face. Then Trumbull held a meeting with the vice president, Martin Kirby, and other members of his presidential guard to discuss who leaked his policy, but none of them admitted it.
A few days later, Wade came to visit Mike's house, where Wade and Make shared their experiences while still in the active military with Mike's wife and children.
After that, Wade and Mike talked in the backyard of the house, they both talked to each other about their lives when they were active military in the past. Currently, Mike said he still wanted to be part of the military because he was not ready to work indoors.
In the morning, Mike said goodbye to his wife and children to go to work, a few moments later he was shown President Trumbull fishing at a lake in Viriginia which was closely guarded by the president's security forces.
Trumbull was on the same boat as Mike, where Trumbull had Mike become the director of the secret service for presidential security. While chatting with the President, Mike's illness suddenly flared up, but he tried to cover it up in front of the President.
Seeing Mike's condition, who was in pain, Trumbull asked Mike to replace him with another member. Not far from the lake, a group of people were seen wearing special laboratory clothes so they could disguise their tracks.
They are preparing weapons in the form of small bat-like drone launchers. Then they immediately launched the drone towards President Trumbull who was fishing in the lake.
Seeing that there was danger coming, Mike immediately asked all members of the presidential security guard to secure the President. When the President was about to be killed, Mike asked one of the presidential security agents to tell the president to jump into the water.
And not long after, the boat the president was riding in exploded due to a drone attack, after which Mike immediately jumped into the lake to save the president from there.
Upon arrival at the President's Hospital and Mike appeared to be unconscious, vice president Kirby came to the Hospital to visit the President who was in a coma.
After that, the judge immediately swore in Vice President Kirby to appoint him interim President of America. The FBI team led by Helen Thompson then went to Lake where the murder attempt occurred to investigate who the perpetrator was.
A colleague of Helen's named Ramirez reported that the police had found a van 1 mile north of the lake. In the van, a drone launcher was found that attacked the president. Helen immediately ordered Ramirez to secure the van.
Leah Banning and her child then went to the hospital to meet Mike. After realizing that Mike saw that his hands were being handcuffed, he was surprised. Agent Helen then interrogates Mike.
Helen said that the President was in a coma and all of the president's security forces were killed except Mike in the attack. Mike wanted to meet the President but Helen refused.
Helen found evidence of Mike's DNA in the form of a piece of Mike's hair which they found in a van 1 mile from the scene, and found the same explosive device as in Mike's garage, as well as a folder containing secret maps and itineraries on the Lake belonging to the Secret Service. , and only Mike knows about the map.
Helen also said that the drone launch was carried out automatically with a facial recognition system that targeted the President of the United States and other members of the presidential security guard except Mike.
Mike answered that he was being framed, but Helen didn't believe him, Mike was then accused of attempting to murder the United States and premeditated murder of his team.
Helen also interrogated Leah, Helen asked Leah about $10 million USD in Mike's overseas account and about Mike's visits to 4 different doctors and Mike paid in cash.
But Leah didn't know that, Leah said Mike would become Director of the secret service for presidential security, Helen answered that it would be the end of Mike's career and he was looking for a big salary for his family, and someone would definitely pay him.
Helen said that if Leah could help find this person, Mike could be helped, but Leah believed that her husband was a good person. After Mike was healthy, in the evening Mike was moved to a detention location.
On the way, the police carrying Mike were attacked by a group of unknown people, then the people moved Mike into their car.
When he was in the car, Mike immediately fought back by knocking out all the people in the car. After Mike took off their masks, it turned out that those people were Bruno and Wade's other men when they were undergoing training together at a private military training ground. Wade's.
Mike also knew that the person who framed him was Wade. The FBI team then saw the ambush that had just occurred at his headquarters and found information that Mike had escaped from there.
Helen then ordered her men to search, one of Helen's men told her that there was a car full of blood near the ambush area, and Helen immediately ordered her men to take a closer look at the car.
Moving to another place, Wade is seen talking on the computer with someone, it turns out this person is the one who told Wade to do everything.
This mysterious person told Wade to immediately find Mike, otherwise Mike would reveal everything. Then Mike went to a public telephone to call his wife. Mike asked his wife and children not to leave the house for a while to be safer.
Mike realized that their conversation was being tapped by the FBI, Mike tried to tell everyone that he was innocent and he promised to reveal the real culprit.
Suddenly from behind someone recognized Mike and tried to arrest him. After the FBI team found out Mike's location, Helen immediately told her team to surround the location.
Returning to Mike, Mike easily paralyzes the person and steals a truck there to escape. The FBI team who saw Mike driving the truck immediately chased him.
Mike, who could no longer control the truck he was driving, accidentally hit a road divider which caused the truck to overturn. When he saw the FBI team approaching him, he immediately got out of the truck and ran into the very dark forest.
In the morning, the FBI team and Helen had to be willing to lose Mike. Ramirez told Helen that after a blood test on the car around Mike's ambush last night it turned out that it was not Mike's blood.
Meanwhile at the White House, Vice President Kirby and other high-ranking state officials discussed Mike, he accused Mike of collaborating with the Russians and had to act immediately, otherwise the United States would look weak and Russia would take advantage of the moment.
Moving on to Mike's place, Mike stole a car and went into a forest, there there was an old man who pointed a gun at him, it turned out that the old man was Clay Banning Mike's father.
There, his father told Mike why Mike and his mother had died when they were children. This was done for the good of Mike and his mother, because otherwise Mike and his mother's lives could be threatened.
Returning to the White House, Kirby, who now serves as President, told the press that Mike was responsible for the attempted assassination of President Trumbull with support from the Russian government.
Inside his base, Wade's hacking team finds the location where Mike's father lives and Wade immediately orders his men to arrest Mike.
Clay immediately woke Mike because there was a group of people heading towards them. Clay then took Mike to a small tunnel to get somewhere.
It turns out Clay had placed several bombs around his house just in case. And Clay immediately detonated the bombs using a remote from the location where they were now.
In the morning Mike collected all the corpses they had killed. His father said to tell Mike to stop because he thought Mike had been betrayed by his own country.
Mike denied his father's words, and Mike said that in the past it was his father who had betrayed himself and didn't want to fight, so his father's life became like it is now.
Mike then took one of Wade's men's phones to contact Wade. Mike told Wade not to look for him because he would look for Wade himself.
Then Clay took the car he had kept all this time and took Mike on the toll road. Through CCTV, Mike gave the location code to the FBI team. The FBI team immediately headed there.
It turns out that this is the location where Clay lives, there the FBI found the bodies of Wade's men who had been killed by Mike and Clay. Helen begins to feel that Mike is actually being framed and Helen will immediately go to Wade's private military training facility to carry out an investigation.
Returning to Mike's place, Mike told his father that he had a wife named Leah and a daughter and Mike wanted to go to the hospital where the president was being treated to reveal who was the real mastermind behind all this incident.
If President Trumbull returns to health, he could cancel the policies made by President Kirby based on accusations made by him and Russia so far.
The person who ordered Wade has now called him again. It turns out that the person who ordered Wade all this time was the Vice President of the United States, Martin Kirby.
Kirby tells Wade to kill President Trumbull immediately, otherwise he won't pay Wade any more. Moving to Mike's house, Mike's wife and child are visited by two of Wade's men.
The two of them planned to take Leah and her child, luckily Clay arrived on time and immediately finished off the two people using his trusty rifle.
Clay then explains to Leah that he is Clay Banning, Mike Banning's father. Moving to another place, now President Trumbull was conscious, he told him about the incident at the lake and asked how Mike was.
David said that Mike collaborated with the Russians to carry out an assassination attempt on President Trumbull and now Vice President Kirby will go to war with Russia as a result of this incident.
Trumbull didn't believe it and immediately asked his men to call Kirby. Meanwhile at Wade's headquarters they were visited by the FBI team. After landing by helicopter, Helen immediately interrogated Wade.
Without further ado, Wade immediately shot Helen and Ramirez, they both died. Then Wade and his men immediately went to make Trumbull president that very day.
Mike has now arrived at the hospital where President Trumbull is being treated. Mike disguises himself as a police officer and asks his team for help because there are armed men outside the hospital.
The president's security forces immediately rushed to leave the hospital. It turned out that was Mike's plan so that he could enter easily to meet the President.
While holding Bily, who was a member of the presidential security guard, there, Mike also met David.
Mike asked David to meet with the President because soon there would be a serious threat. David immediately brought Mike before the President.
Mike told President Trumbull that he already knew who the real culprit was behind all of this and that this place was no longer safe. Mike then told everyone to get the president out of there and not to tell anyone.
When re-examining, hospital employees saw that their computer always had an error every 6 hours. Mike then told his team to check whether the IP address of the military training facility in Virginia was connected to the hospital.
Suddenly someone controlled the hospital gas, knowing that the hospital would be blown up, Mike and the others immediately evacuated the president from there and everyone in the hospital.
Wade, who knew that Mike already knew about his plan, immediately accelerated his journey to the hospital. While evacuating the President, Mike's group was seen by Wade.
Wade and his men immediately attacked Mike and the others. Mike immediately took the President to the building next to the hospital because the hospital would soon be blown up. Don't forget that Mike also put the President in a bulletproof vest to make him safer.
Mike then told everyone to leave through the back door and took the President to a secret room for shelter. Mike told David to keep the president in the room.
Meanwhile, Mike and the other team will face Wade and his men. Mike told his men to face the upcoming attack while he would go to the side door to face Wade's men who were passing through there.
The shooting scene between Team Mike and Team Wade began and took place very fiercely in that magnificent building. Wade and his men managed to kill all of Mike's Team and they immediately looked for the President.
They entered the room where they suspected the President was hiding, but they didn't find anything there. It turned out that the President and David were hiding in the room next to him.
Because the police had surrounded the building, Wade and his men immediately left there, Mike, who saw it, immediately chased Wade and his men.
After successfully killing one of Wade's men on the stairs, Mike saw a grenade fall nearby. Luckily, Mike managed to survive the explosion.
When Wade was about to climb into the helicopter on the roof of the building, Mike immediately shot at the helicopter, killing Wade's right hand. And then Mike immediately shot at the helicopter until it exploded.
Now Wade is face to face with Mike, Mike is seen throwing away his gun while Wade immediately takes his gun to shoot Mike, a shootout using a gun on the roof of the building is inevitable.
Because Mike's bullets had run out, Mike finally decided to face Wade using his bare hands. After a fierce fight, Wade was finally defeated by Mike.
Then the film switches to President Trumbull greeting all the presidents of other countries at the G-20 event to ease tensions with the Russians.
Then President Trumbull met Vice President Kirby and revealed that it was Kirby who ordered and paid Wade Jennings all this time, Vice President Kirby was finally arrested.
Mike then met President Trumbull at the White House to apologize about the illness he had suffered from Trumbull. Mike then submitted his resignation.
But President Trumbull still believed in Mike and didn't want Mike to quit his job. Trumbull asked Mike to become Director of the secret service for presidential security and asked Mike not to hide any more secrets, because the President who asked Mike directly couldn't refuse.
