🌼Only Yesterday...🌻(an animated film)
A wonderful greeting to all the lovely people on Hive!! 😊💞
I've been rewatching some Studio Ghibli films lately, because I'm an avid fan and I just love them. One of the films that I rewatched was "Only Yesterday." I watched it together with my daughter @tegoshei last week, and she even posted a fan art about it.

"Only Yesterday" follows the story of "Taeko" a twenty-seven-year-old office worker woman who travels to the countryside while reminiscing about her childhood in Tokyo.
This film, for me, is a realistic portrayal of life and is relatable to most of us. Taeko's journey explores the power of nostalgia. Through her visit to the countryside, she was able to deliberately reconnect with her past.

She specifically thought of her joyful and bittersweet relationship with her family, including their rudeness toward her, especially by one of her older sisters. That made me hate her sister a bit. Although there are some scenes when I dislike her family, I still love the whole story.

I love the scene in school with her puppy love, but most of all the scenes from the countryside. I enjoyed every view or scenery of this film, the rice fields, the saffron farm, the mountains and everything in the countryside.
The warmth and the hospitality of the people there made her realize her importance and the feeling of being loved.

These are some of the scenes that I love the most in this movie, but I remember my daughter's favorite scene is when they were eating pineapple, and they're all curious about the taste. That was funny though! ☺
Overall, this film is really good and significant. It focuses on the journey of self-reflection, an exploration of what you want in your life and not from other's expectations. This is really a must-watch film so I highly recommend this to you and I'm pretty sure that you're gonna love it.
I'll just end my post here and see you around.😊
Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless..🙏❣
