Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop (animated film)
Warm greetings to all Hiveans, most especially to all anime lovers!!
Here's another anime review from yours truly. π

It's the story of two young high schoolers, Yui Sakura, known as "Cherry," and Yuki Hoshino, known as "Smile."

This is a Japanese animated film titled "Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop." These two young fellows both struggle to express themselves. Cherry is a shy boy who expresses himself through haiku (a poetry that focuses on a brief moment in time), while Smile is an online influencer who hides behind a mask to conceal her buck teeth.
A chance encounter connected them after they accidentally switched their phones in a mall. This is the beginning of their journey of self-discovery and a blossoming romance.

However, the story not only evolves around the two of them but also focuses on finding a lost record for an elderly man, much like a quest, which somehow aided them in developing their feelings.
This is really a lovely film worth watching.
It has a heartwarming, delightful, and sweet animated plot. I like how the main leads portrayed their roles uniquely and expressively despite their insecurities.

The rest of the characters played so well, too. I definitely love the setting, especially the scenery outside the mall, which is truly mesmerizing. The soundtrack adds to the beauty of it.
This is just so, so good. It gives us a lesson that conveys that love and confidence can blossom when we face our insecurities with the support of others. The film emphasizes the importance of human connections and expresses that nobody is perfect in this whole wide world.
This film gives us the urge to express ourselves, the feeling of excitement, and encouragement to find our own voices and not to be afraid to show and share our feelings and experiences in life.
I also find the ending quite cute. You'll really fall in love with this film. So, once again, I hope you'll watch it. I promise it's really beautiful and realistic.
It's another must-watch anime film, which is why I really love watching anime, despite being in my late 50s. It gives me joy and even some life lessons. Thanks to my daughter, @tegoshei, for influencing me to try watching anime...and I became hooked on them, and now I'm truly an anime lover.
I'll end my post here and see you around.
Thank you so much for reading and God bless...β€ππ
