Hi, @davidpena21! Excellent analysis of the series.
It really caught my attention when you mentioned that the show “shows how the police world works through a well-conducted investigation.” That specific phrase really got me thinking, because that’s exactly what we’d all like to see happen in real life.
Unfortunately, the reality around us is often very different: without public scrutiny, influential stakeholders, or constant, exhausting advocacy, cases are simply shelved and forgotten. It’s almost as if the case didn’t exist if enough noise isn’t made about it.
Seeing a serious investigation on screen—one with a genuine commitment to uncovering the truth—makes us wish that standard were applied outside of fiction. Best of luck.
