Sometimes when I see a movie or work of art that causes a reaction in me that I don't like, I think about the effect the author intended to create and whether that's what I felt, and if they achieved their goal.

Cuando un cineasta logra impactarme con alguna escena , siento que, en parte, ha alcanzado su objetivo. Me gusta cuando una película me incomoda con algunas de sus escenas. Por ejemplo, en las películas Psicosis y El Exorcista, aunque son de hace décadas, las vuelvo a ver y sus escenas me siguen impresionando tanto como la primera vez. Claro que esta película no llega a ese nivel.
