Totally gonna watch this one. LOVE the plot. Woman in coma enters the universe of her unfinished screen play. This reminds me of a nun I met in 1987. She was writing a sci-fi trilogy, and we agreed it would be so awesome to meet in heaven the fictional characters she'd created. She ended up married, last I heard, and I've never found her books published. Her villain reformed and became a good guy (Thax--all these years later I remember). Sister Marcia Marie Tucker, why can't I find you online... now you're Mrs. ----.
Also this premise reminds me of a K-drama (which I still want to see, beyond episode one) -

W-Two Worlds When her father goes missing, the daughter of a famous webtoon creator finds herself pulled into another dimension. Soon, she realizes she is living in the world of the webtoon her father created. But when she begins to interact with the story's hero and interfere with the plot, the line between the two worlds is blurred.

The dialogue is so dorky (typical for a K drama!) - but I love the concept. When this gal falls in love with the cartoon hero who came to life after her dad created him, the dad finds out, and he's on a mission to KILL the character in his comic strip.

our surgeon heroine Han Hyo-joo finding out that her famous webtoon artist father (Kim Eui-sung) has suddenly vanished. It’s the mystery that brings her into the parallel universe of her favorite comic book, but when she saves a dying Lee Jong-seok and disappears just as suddenly as she came, he decides she holds the key to his life and starts searching for her. Sometime later, she wakes up in his bed blurting, “I love you!” and he kisses her. In voiceover she says, “I’m someone who’s hoping for your happy ending.” But he’s deeply suspicious that she knows so much about him and wonders what her real deal is. She’s desperate to save him, but doesn’t know that Dad is frantically trying to kill off his leading character, for some unknown reason. She cries that she doesn’t know what comes next in the story, while Dad declares ominously: “Today’s will be the last episode.” Noooo, save him!

W, a 2016 South Korean television series, 16 episodes, centers on the clash between "two worlds": the real world and an alternate universe inside a webtoon.
