Today we are celebrating women ,so a big shout out to all the women of the world ,keep pressing forward no matter the odds, you are all loved .

So to commemorate this moment , I like to write about a movies that stands as a symbol of girl power to me. I know their are a lot of symbols and a lot of movies that say a lot about girl power but if I had to choose one that does the both it would be "Pitch perfect" the movie.
I know most of you would have watched the movie while the rest of , most likely would have heard of this movie .
Well it's a movie about acapella , where a group of acapella girls known as the "Bellas" have to go up against their rivals , a group of acapella boys popularly known as the "treble makers".
In this movie , we get to see the girls not only go head to head with the "treble makers" vocally , we get to see the girls grow together, work together,sing together, camp together,train together and become stronger together as they prepare for their greatest battle yet ," to restore their dignity and take back their crown from the treble makers ".
And while they do that , we the viewers get to enjoy some really good melody , have a good laugh and in all have a great time..
This movie , is source of inspiration to me , whenever I think "girlpower" because it doesn't only show how determined the girls are to reclaim their throne , but it also focuses on women accepting themselves for who they are , despite their body shapes or size, and it also shows a great deal of women supportting women as they march , sing and dance together , conquering their challenges as the move forward.
In conclusion: pitch perfect is a great movie to watch , if you love music, women, and if you love to have a good time ..
