In 2013, I had a discussion with my friend about a film that I ended up watching because I was very interested due to his suggestion. This film is a 1957 film which has a rating of 8.9/10 on IMDB and has a rating of 8. This film is the best ever film I have ever watched.

Maybe I have watched this film many times, I never get bored. But unfortunately I never once managed to persuade my other friends to like this film, maybe it depends on each person's taste.

12 Angry Men, the best movie that I never thought before. When I first watched it, at the beginning of the film, I really underestimated the storyline, but unfortunately, after watching this film in the first 10 minutes, I was immediately slapped. It would be stupid if I missed this great film, and I'm so grateful to my friend who gave me a surprise from an old film.

Here I want to explain how great this film is and you should watch it. There are so many main factors that made me fall in love. Although you will be bored because the setting of this film is only in one location, but that is the greatness of this film. Sounds very cheesy but this is a spectacular film.

• Storyline: this film tells the story of a young boy who becomes a criminal suspect because he has killed his father. Then the court sent 12 jurors who would decide unanimously whether this young man could be sentenced to death or not, on the condition that all jurors had to agree whether this young man was guilty or not. And the film begins with 11 jurors saying that this child should be given a fair trial for murder, but there is one jury who disagrees even though he is very doubtful about his decision, but he believes that this case must be discussed first so as not to take the wrong decision.

• 12 Angry Men has a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes, almost the entire film is full of scripts. The script is made very strong to build the imagination of the audience, even in this film there is no flashback. murder scene designs even the names of 12 actors, we know the names of the judges 20 seconds before the movie ends. The first thing I mentioned after this movie was over was AMAZING! This film made me love the characters based on the script that is not kidding.

• Cinematography, even though this is a black and white film, the lighting and camera placement in 1957 was extraordinary, even though the film was only shot in one room. In addition, the perfect make-up of the actors is thought out in great detail, especially when there are several scenes that tell how hot the room is because of the dead fan and also the heated debate of the judges.

• One take okay, at the beginning of the film it opens with 7 minutes of scene taking without a cut, how come in 1957 the actors had an extraordinary ability to act without making mistakes in 7 minutes? Or was the scene shot dozens of times?

• As I explained earlier, the script is the main value in this film, but without the actors who explore the role, this film is nothing. Has 12 good actors and plays a jury that argues great in one room full of intrigue. Without needing to explain, you will understand who plays the protagonist and antagonist very well.

• This film only has a score at the beginning and at the end of the film. The rest is only the script and the roles of the actors, so this film is really strong in building characters from the script alone. However, prove it yourself by watching this film. Leave me a comment afterwards!

For me this film has a different place, there is a deep impression and I think this is the best film I have ever seen. Maybe because I like serial killers and detectives like Conan Edogawa. But, for those of you who want to learn discussion, I recommend this film to you.
