Hace rato que no me sentaba a ver una película porque he estado pegada viendo series, unas cortas y otras más largas, que consumen mi tiempo disponible para ver televisión. Ahora, con estos aires navideños que ya estamos disfrutando, el momento es propicio para comenzar la temporada de películas navideñas.
El domingo en la noche, me dispuse a ver mi primera película de Navidad de esta temporada. Esta vez, no busqué en Netflix, pues la mayoría de las veces, entre tantas películas que ofrece esta plataforma, me cuesta mucho decidirme por una y, a veces, no encuentro qué ver. Entonces me fui directamente a Disney Plus, estaba segura de que allí encontraría una película llena de la magia navideña que me haría disfrutar de una hora de esparcimiento.
Inicié mi búsqueda y, de inmediato, sentí el flechazo con Santa Paws: En busca de Santa Claus. Debo confesarles que lo que me atrajo de esta película fue la tierna cara del perrito en el afiche. Ya saben que amo a los perros. ¡Qué belleza! una película en la que un perro con mirada profunda y llena de sentimientos tiene un papel muy especial. Mi mejor elección para un domingo de adviento, pues el amor, la esperanza y la generosidad están impregnando estos aires decembrinos y son valores que prevalecen en esta película.
It's been a while since I sat down to watch a movie because I've been stuck watching series, some short and some longer, that consume my available time to watch TV. Now, with these Christmas airs that we are already enjoying, the time is propitious to start the Christmas movie season.
On Sunday night, I set out to watch my first Christmas movie of this season. This time, I didn't look on Netflix, because most of the time, among so many movies that this platform offers, I have a hard time deciding on one and sometimes I can't find what to watch. So I went straight to Disney Plus, I was sure that there I would find a movie full of Christmas magic that would make me enjoy an hour of entertainment.
I started my search and, immediately, I had a crush on Santa Paws: In Search of Santa Claus. I must confess that what attracted me to this movie was the cute doggy face on the poster. You know I love dogs, what a beauty, a movie in which a dog with a deep look and full of feelings has a very special role. My best choice for an Advent Sunday, because love, hope and generosity are impregnating these Christmas airs and are values that prevail in this film.

Santa Paws: En busca de Santa Claus es una película navideña, creo que se puede clasificar como una comedia musical porque hay canciones amenizándola, del año 2010 que no sabía que existía, pero como nunca es tarde cuando la dicha es buena, agradezco haberla encontrado ahora y poder disfrutarla. Es una película que pueden disfrutar tanto niños como adultos, es una buena opción para verla en familia.
Desde el inicio de la película me gustó mucho, pues la fotografía es espectacular, la ambientación de la época navideña lleva muchas luces y colores, lo que la hace muy hermosa y llamativa. Este es otro motivo por el que continué viendo la película, amo la Navidad y todo lo característico de ella.
Santa Paws: In Search of Santa Claus is a Christmas movie, I think it can be classified as a musical comedy because there are songs enlivening it, from the year 2010 that I did not know existed, but as it is never late when happiness is good, I am grateful to have found it now and be able to enjoy it. It is a movie that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, it is a good option to watch it with the family.
From the beginning of the movie I liked it a lot, because the photography is spectacular, the Christmas time setting has a lot of lights and colors, which makes it very beautiful and eye-catching. This is another reason why I continued watching the movie, I love Christmas and everything characteristic of it.

La película comienza con la celebración del cumpleaños de Santa Claus en el Polo Norte, pero la llegada de una carta anunciando la triste noticia de la muerte del señor Hucklebuckle, aliado de Santa en Nueva York, entristece el momento. Sin embargo, el señor Hucklebuckle, dueño de una juguetería, había dejado un regalo para Santa. En una caja venía un perro de peluche que luego, en un momento mágico, fue convertido en uno real para que fuera su mejor amigo.
The film begins with Santa's birthday celebration at the North Pole, but the arrival of a letter announcing the sad news of the death of Mr. Hucklebuckle, Santa's ally in New York, saddens the moment. However, Mr. Hucklebuckle, a toy store owner, had left a gift for Santa. In a box was a stuffed dog that later, in a magical moment, was turned into a real one to be his best friend.

En esta película se entrelazan con hilos de oro por Navidad, tres historias, a saber: la de Santa y el perro, que llegan a Nueva York para alegrar la Navidad, pero por un accidente, se separan, la del nieto del señor Hucklebuckle y la de dos niñas huérfanas.
Luego de la muerte del señor Hucklebuckle, la juguetería se cerró, así que los niños no tendrían lugar para hacer sus peticiones a Santa. Pero, no todo estaba perdido porque el nieto la había heredado, y debía abrirla y tener alguna ganancia para luego venderla si quería.
Así, el nieto, a petición de su esposa, decidió abrir la juguetería para aliviar un poco la pena de otra Navidad sin hijos.
Por otro lado, las niñas huérfanas Will y Qinn vivían en el orfanato al cuidado de una mujer a la que no le gustaban los juguetes ni las mascotas. En una escapada, las niñas llegan a la juguetería y Quinn, la más pequeña, a mi parecer, hace la petición más hermosa en tiempos de Navidad. La de pedir que se cumpla el deseo de Will, que no creía en santa, de tener una bicicleta como la de la vidriera y la de que pudieran tener una mascota en el orfanato. Qinn es una niña con un corazón inocente y lleno de amor que deja de lado sus deseos para que se cumplan los de los demás.
In this film, three stories are intertwined with golden threads for Christmas, namely that of Santa and the dog, who arrive in New York to brighten up Christmas, but due to an accident, they get separated, that of Mr. Hucklebuckle's grandson and that of two orphaned girls.
After Mr. Hucklebuckle's death, the toy store was closed, so the children would have no place to make their requests to Santa. But, all was not lost because the grandson had inherited it, and he was to open it and make some profit and then sell it if he wanted to.
So, the grandson, at his wife's request, decided to open the toy store to alleviate some of the grief of another childless Christmas.
On the other hand, the orphaned girls Will and Qinn were living in the orphanage in the care of a woman who did not like toys or pets. On a getaway, the girls arrive at the toy store and Quinn, the youngest, in my opinion, makes the most beautiful request at Christmas time. That of asking for Will's wish, who didn't believe in Santa, to have a bicycle like the one in the window and that they could have a pet at the orphanage. Qinn is a little girl with an innocent heart full of love who puts aside her own wishes to make others' wishes come true.
Así, se van dando otras acciones, no quiero hacer spolier, hay acontecimientos conmovedores que hablan de la magia que se percibe en Navidad, de lo hermoso de inspirar el espíritu navideño y se resaltan valores como el compañerismo, la solidaridad, la generosidad, la esperanza y el amor. Al final, triunfa la bondad y la alegría para todos.
Me gustó mucho esta película, pues pasé un rato en el mood navideño que disfruté al máximo, además. Navidad es un tiempo para compartir, para esparcir hermandad y fraternidad y para dejar que brille en nuestros corazones la alegría de la Navidad, tal cual como la viven los niños con su corazón limpio, inocente y lleno de amor.
Thus, other actions take place, I don't want to make spolier, there are touching events that speak of the magic that is perceived at Christmas, of the beauty of inspiring the Christmas spirit and values such as companionship, solidarity, generosity, hope and love are highlighted. In the end, goodness and joy triumph for all.
I really liked this movie, because I spent some time in the Christmas mood and enjoyed it to the fullest. Christmas is a time to share, to spread brotherhood and fraternity and to let the joy of Christmas shine in our hearts, just as children live it with their clean, innocent and loving hearts.
