When I saw the first part of this wonderful film I was absolutely enchanted by it, so much so that I watched it several times. I was not only attracted by its visual power, the make-up, the scenery, but also by the meaning and the messages the film inspired.

Fantasy is just a way of expressing certain things in this world.

I am very attracted when a film has a magnificent design, a make-up that is out of the ordinary, but as I always say, I look at the background of what you see at first sight, there is always a background.

As I say, I have nothing but wonderful words for the first part of this enigmatic film. And this second part, despite the criticisms it has received, I think it is marvellous.

It transcends and enhances the message of the first one, which was already strong. That one emphasised the love for nature, which entails respect for nature. But also respect for those who are different, their culture, their customs.

These are not the only messages, there is one that is not visible to the naked eye. The union with the whole, it shows that we are all united by a tree, they say. It talks about what happens after death, how they take this event, it is only a step.

It talks about respect for every living being, above all interests.

On the other hand, it shows the greed, the subjugation, the sense of believing that the human race is superior, it shows the negative side of the human race. And why not, if it is real.

In this second part, in addition to all of the above, we see the value of the family, so lost these days, and that fears and problems are not dealt with by running away but by facing them.

This is the strongest message in this second part and it is masterful. Beyond the fantasy and the blue bodies, which are meant to attract attention, you have to look at what you want to convey.

Cuando vi la primera parte de esta maravillosa película me quedé absolutamente encantada con ella, tanto es así que la vi varias veces. No sólo me atraía su poder visual, el maquillaje, los escenarios, sino el significado y los mensajes que la película inspiraba.

La fantasía es sólo una manera de expresar ciertas cosas de este mundo.

Me atrae mucho cuando una película tiene un diseño magnífico, un maquillaje fuera de lo habitual, pero como siempre digo, miro el trasfondo de lo que se ve a simple vista, siempre hay un trasfondo.

Como les digo, de la primera parte de esta enigmática película no tengo más que palabras maravillosas. Y esta segunda parte, a pesar de las críticas recibidas, me parece maravillosa.

Trasciende y mejora el mensaje de la primera, que ya era fuerte. Aquella hacía hincapié en el amor por la naturaleza, el cual conlleva su respeto. Pero, además, el respecto por el que es diferente, su cultura, costumbres.

Estos no son los únicos mensajes, hay uno que no está a simple vista. La unión con el todo, se muestra que todos estamos unidos mediante un árbol, dicen ellos. Habla de que pasa luego de la muerte, como toman este acontecimiento, es sólo un paso.

Se habla del respeto a cada ser vivo, por sobre todos los intereses.

En contrapartida, se muestra la codicia, el avasallamiento, el sentido de creerse superior por parte de la raza humana, muestra el lado negativo de esta. Y porque no, si es real.

En esta segunda parte, además de todo lo anterior, vemos el valor de la familia, tan perdido en estos días, y que a los miedos y problemas no se les hace frente huyendo sino enfrentándolos.

Este es el mensaje más fuerte en esta segunda parte y eso es magistral. Más allá de la fantasía y los cuerpos azules, que son para llamar la atención, se debe mirar lo que se quiere transmitir.

In Avatar, the meaning of water, several years have passed since the humans left Pandora. Jake and Neytiri have formed a beautiful family and live happily among their own kind.

Jake and Neytiri have three natural children (two boys and a girl) and two adopted children, of which one is the daughter of Grace's brain-dead avatar and the other is the son of Colonel Miles who was left on the planet.
Kiri, the adopted daughter discovers a very deep relationship with the Mother Tree or Tree of Souls and the power that derives from it.

All is happy and prosperous until the humans arrive again.
And although this time they come for a precious material contained in the brain of a giant whale species called the tulkun, it is not the sole purpose of any of them.

Colonel Miles and other military men are no longer in human bodies, but have avatars.
Recall that Miles died in the first instalment at the hands of Neytiri, and his avatar, with the mind of the colonel, seeks revenge. His target is both Jake and Neytiri, and he has no qualms about using their children as bait.

The film will revolve around saving the family, protecting them, but initially by fleeing from their place, the forest, thus also protecting the Na'vi.
They flee from that place in search of a better place and find support and backing from the Na'vi, inhabitants of the sea.
They teach them the goodness of the water and how they are bound to it, another message of the film.

Soon they too are in danger as they have been tracked and a choice must be made between running away again or facing what will sooner or later become a reality.
In the battle one of Jake's natural children is killed and sadness grips the family, but they must move on because the other children are at risk. Jake and Neytiri will do whatever it takes to keep the rest of the family alive, albeit with a lot of help from Kiri.

This second part opens the door to a third, as the colonel who apparently dies is actually saved by his son, a blood connection perhaps.

I must say that I love the characters and the place of Pandora. It's perfect, the nature, the colours, the magic present in every moment, whether in the forest or in the sea. The design of each species of flora and fauna is incredible.

The creation of great characters who dominate and respect nature, life and death, where it seems that the negative side of the human species is not found in them, that they have understood the essence of the whole and how it is connected. All this amazes me. I have even asked myself if Pandora existed, would I live in that world? .... The answer is yes.

High values and principles not only among the humanoid beings that live there, but with respect to every species and race. Great lessons are taught by this production.
If we look at the film in the sense of human beings, we see the baseness, the lack of respect for others, only giving priority to economic interests, greed and avarice. Revenge is present, evil. All this in contrast to the Na'vi.

A film that I recommend, not only for the great design, the special effects in a science fiction story very well done with great magical and fantastic environments, but with deep messages and to reason them. I really enjoyed it very much. Three hours that went by very quickly, admiring it all.

En Avatar, el sentido del agua, han pasado varios años desde que los humanos abandonaron pandora. Jake y Neytiri han formado una hermosa familia y viven felices entre los suyos.

Jake y Neytiri tienen tres hijos naturales (dos niños y una niña) y dos adoptivos, de los cuales una es hija del avatar de Grace, el cual tiene muerte cerebral y el otro es hijo del coronel Miles y que fue dejado en el planeta.
Kiri, la hija adoptiva descubre una relación muy profunda con el Árbol madre o Árbol de las almas y el poder que de ello deriva.

Todo es motivo de felicidad y prospera hasta que llegan nuevamente los humanos.
Y aunque en esta ocasión vienen por un material preciado contenido en el cerebro de una especie de ballena gigante llamada tulkun, no es el único propósito de alguno de ellos.

El coronel Miles y otros militares ya no están en cuerpos humanos, sino que tienen avatares.
Recordemos que Miles murió en la primera entrega en manos de Neytiri, y su avatar, con la mente del coronel busca venganza. Su objetivo con ambos protagonistas, Jake y Neytiri y para eso no tendrá escrúpulos para utilizar a sus hijos de carnada.

La película se desarrollará en torno a salvar a la familia, protegerla, pero en principio huyendo de su lugar, el bosque, de esta manera también resguardando los Na'vi.
Huyen de ese lugar en busca de otro mejor y encuentran apoyo y respaldo de los Na'vi, habitantes del mar.
Ellos le enseñarán las bondades del agua y como están unidos a ella, otro mensaje de la película.

Pronto estos también estarán en peligro ya que los han rastreado y se deberá decidir entre volver a huir o enfrentarse a lo que tarde o temprano sería una realidad.
En la batalla uno de los hijos naturales de Jake muere y la tristeza embarga a la familia, pero se debe seguir adelante porque los demás hijos están en riesgo. Jake y Neytiri harán lo necesario para mantener al resto de la familia con vida, eso sí con mucha ayuda de Kiri.

Esta segunda parte abre las puertas a una tercera, ya que el coronel que en apariencia muere, en realidad es salvado por su hijo, conexión de la sangre tal vez.

Debo decir que me encantan los personajes logrados y el lugar de Pandora. Es perfecto, la naturaleza, los colores, la magia presente en cada momento, tanto sea en el ambiente del bosque como del mar. El diseño de cada especie de la flora y la fauna es increíble.

La creación de personajes grandes que dominan y respetan la naturaleza, la vida y la muerte, donde pareciera que el lado negativo de la especie humana no se encuentra en ellos, que han comprendido la esencia del todo y como esta conectado. Todo eso me maravilla. Hasta me he preguntado si existiera Pandora, viviría en ese mundo…. La respuesta es sí.

Altos valores y principios no solo entre los seres humanoides que viven allí, sino con respecto a cada especie y raza. Grandes enseñanzas nos dan esta producción.
Si miramos la película en el sentido de los seres humanos, vemos las bajezas, el no respeto por los demás, sólo primando un interés económico, de avaricia y codicia. La venganza esta presente, la maldad. Todo esto en contraposición a los Na'vi.

Una película que recomiendo, no sólo por el gran diseño, los efectos especiales en una historia de ciencia ficción muy bien lograda con grandes ambientes mágicos y fantásticos, pero con mensajes profundos y para razonarlos. Realmente me gustó muchísimo. Tres horas que se pasaron muy rápido admirándolo todo.
