That film is intense but very realistic – these things do happen, and they used to happen a lot in Argentina too. My brother, who loves cycling, had his bike stolen whilst it was locked up in the car park of the hospital where he was looking after my grandmother, who was dying. And things like those in the film used to happen as well. It’s very sad, but it’s true.

How terrible this is that you tell me… oh my goodness. 😔

Some philosophers say evil is a conscious choice, as it grants power or instant pleasure. There are other views, of course, and they are very interesting… evil is a chain we can all break. Of course, goodness is a harder practice, as it requires effort, empathy and resilience.

Everything happens for a reason... it’s like when my documents were stolen on the bus as I was heading home after sitting an exam... I wondered why they’d stolen them... what for?

I can assure you there was an explanation. Today I understand that nothing bad will happen to me, because only good things can come of it.
