I don't understand the original quote from Damon. How is Netflix asking for plot multiple times an issue?
I'll probably look into his interview.
But I agree, all apps are becoming TikTok, trying to make us scroll endlessly. I have scrolled Netflix many a time to find a movie to watch, but nothing piques my interest after watching a small preview.

Matt Damon says that screenplays now have dialogue that explains the plot of a film about five times. He says this happens because people are distracted by their phones. Netflix then demands this in its scripts, which significantly lowers the quality of the films.
Yeah, I got it after reading an article. It is just interesting how subtle things have huge influences on an industry. But the rot can only last for a while.
