The show centers around James St Patrick. To the outside world he's a regular night club owner, but secretly he's a drug dealer who goes by the nickname "Ghost". He wishes to one day leave the criminal life. But his life turns upside down when by chance he meets his high school girlfriend Angela Valdez, who happens to be a district attorney, at his nightclub.

James St Patrick a.k.a Ghost (Omari Hardwick), as I stated earlier is a night club owner who is contemplating quitting and just running his nightclub "Truth", which was initially created as a front to clean the money gotten from dealing drugs. He is a very indecisive character and all through the series his indecisiveness will cost him a lot.

Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) , is James' childhood friend and basically a sidekick in his drug dealing endeavors for lot of the series. He is very strong headed, impatient, and has this cool way of saying "mother*****r".

Tasha St Patrick is James' wife (Naturi Naughton) . She enjoys living in lavish and encourages James not to stop.

Angela Valdez (Lela Loren) is James' high school girlfriend. She had to leave him to pursue her career. Now she's a District Attorney. She sees him again and those feelings are reignited, even though she's already dating someone, and he's married.

Kanan Stark (50 cent) could also be categorized under the guest star category, since he comes and goes, but since he's also one of the producers I'll also add him to this list. Him, James, and Tommy are all from the same neighborhood. He somewhat taught them how drug dealing works. But James and Tasha betray him and get him arrested because his methods were too unorthodox.

There's a lot of characters who can easily fit into this list because it has six seasons and a lot, I mean, a lot of characters and sub-plots.

The show consist of 63 episodes split into six seasons. Each episode Is approximately 50 minutes. It has a lot of swear words, s*x scenes, violence and is not advisable for children.

My Thoughts

For me, the series started slow. The person who told me about the series already set high standards in my head for the series. So when the first episode two episodes didn't really have much, I was partly disappointed. I didn't continue for a day or two, then I got bored and went back, and it started gaining momentum. As each episode progressed there's a reason to watch the next. it was a really interesting series.

"One last time" is a sentence you'll here a lot as the series progresses from James St Patrick. Throughout the series he kept going back to crime whenever he was in a tight spot.

After the first season I began to dislike the main character James St Patrick and his wife Tasha as they both made a lot of horrible life choices and did a lot of things that weren't necessary in my opinion.

My favorite Character all through the series was Tommy Egan. He had a few lows, but it didn't stop him as he matured from being a sidekick to his own man.

The producers seemed to make sure there was an explanation for almost anything (which is a good thing) and as a result, to an extent the series was unnecessarily long. It also had a lot of unrealistic scenes (as do most action films). It has lots of action, drama, betrayaIs (lots of this), wtf moments, and so much more. I would recommend this series for you if you are a fan of action and crime dramas. If not, you can still check it out, you may or may not like it, but I did.
