In as mush as I know that china movie industry’s are doing great by themselves already, does this kicking out have anything do with the tarrifs too or just a turn out of events

China was setting up to have their own industry take over domestically. This predated the tariffs. Disney screwed itself.

China has been engaging in a variety of tactics since it joined the WTO which give it advantages over all other countries. It manipulates it currency, subsidizes its industries, engage in IP theft, and have regulations against many outside products.
