When all else fails...

They take you to war. It's a really sad state of affairs in human history. We are one step closer to war with the EAST. There are no good guy's in this fight either. Sometimes I wish we could go into the 1980's.. boomer economy, recovery, fantasy.

Fantasy cannot last forever and the human condition always figures out way's to 'f' it up. I do have to be fair though, even though the 1980's was great for growth, we were already in an environment that was corrupt and rotting from the ground up.

Conan, Rambo, Top Gun. All a throwback to a time where fantasy never met reality. The good guy's were the West and it's Hollywood actors. We had little to no censorship and the computer age was just a budding interest. I won't go so far as to say virtual life is slavery, but it now is being used as a substitute for living today.

It's amazing how people are losing their shit when the power goes out. With a war there will be more difficulty for day to day living. The virtual world may just crumble in such condition and it's of course the human fallacy for thinking we can control things. When the wheels fall off, you will always have memories of the 80's.

War is an enemy of human and of nature and of economy. War destroys what took decades to build within a twinkle of an eye.

You are right that fantasy is far from meeting reality
