Sin embargo, mi pretensión acá es dar opinión sobre lo que vi.

En la película Rebel Ridge, la actuación de Aaron Pierre como Terry Richmond me pareció extraordinaria, da vida a un personaje con una naturalidad impresionante. In Rebel Ridge we have Aaron Pierre and in The Accountant 2 there is the well-known actor Ben Affleck. Of the two, I must admit that I was only familiar with Ben Affleck's performance. Aaron Pierre is new to me. However, my claim here is to give an opinion on what I saw.

In the movie Rebel Ridge, I found the performance of Aaron Pierre as Terry Richmond extraordinary, he gives life to a character with an impressive naturalness. His performance flows with great authenticity, he shows an emotional evolution that goes beyond the conventional. She manages to convey toughness and determination in the moments of action, but at the same time she lets us glimpse a fragility that humanizes her character. Por otro lado, a pesar de ser un actor talentoso, la interpretación de Ben Affleck en The Accountant 2 me pareció un poco forzada. No sé si la intención del director era resaltar su condición especial a través de un personaje duro, con una gran capacidad para resolver acertijos, pero siento que la transición entre estos aspectos no se logró del todo. Su actuación, aunque competente, para mi, no alcanza la naturalidad necesaria para que el personaje evolucione de manera orgánica dentro de la trama.

Mientras Rebel Ridge se arriesga con una narrativa más atrevida, The Accountant 2 se queda atrapada en su propia zona de confort. ¿ Son peliculas que valen la pena verlas?

Sí, ambas películas vale la pena verlas. Cada quien tendrá sus propias percepciones. Una de las bondades del cine es esta, lo que puede ser bueno para unos no necesariamente tiene que ser para otros. Cada opinión es respetada.

I don't know if the director's intention was to highlight his special condition through a tough character, with a great ability to solve riddles, but I feel that the transition between these aspects was not entirely achieved. His performance, while competent, for me, does not achieve the naturalness necessary for the character to evolve organically within the plot.

While Rebel Ridge takes a risk with a more daring narrative, The Accountant 2 is stuck in its own comfort zone. Are they movies worth seeing?

Yes, both films are worth seeing. Everyone will have their own perceptions. One of the great things about cinema is this, what may be good for some does not necessarily have to be good for others.

Dicho esto, en mi caso, The Accountant 2 no me convenció porque esperaba más en su trama. Muchas escenas fueron confusas y los giros dejaron de ser interesantes. No entendí la participación de Jon Bernthal, Braxton Wolff en la película. ¿Quién es realmente? ¿De dónde salió? ¿Un criminal que se transforma en bueno? Esta transformación de criminal a aliado es uno de los aspectos que me generó muchas dudas, una idea poco desarrollada que quedó en el aire.

Por otro lado, Rebel Ridge ofrece mayor tensión, suspenso y expectativas, manteniendo al espectador inmerso en su narrativa. Aunque presenta algunos giros confusos con elementos de fantasía, estos ocurren solo en una o dos escenas, sin comprometer el realismo general de la película.

Uno de los aspectos más destacados es la profundidad emocional de los personajes, un elemento bien logrado, cuidadosamente desarrollado y magistralmente interpretado.
