Two movies... one same name.

Looking for some options to spend my evenings without getting bored I found a first movie called The Professor (Ignored) starring the famous Pianist actor Adrien Brody. Once again Adrien's participation in this film is extraordinary.

As always the title caught my attention. Especially that part enclosed in parentheses that reads: (Ignored). The whole plot develops around this term. I am a teacher and therefore I felt identified.

Ignored? Obviously it is a social criticism where the importance of the role of the educator and the little attention given to them is demanded. It demands in this film the hard and sad stories of each member of an educational institution who do not attend class just to teach or educate a group of rebellious young people but to go beyond, to get involved in their emotional worlds to reach and attend to their needs.

Did you know that these are really the functions of a teacher? Many believe that it is simply to explain content and nothing could be more wrong than that. In this film, those who see it, will capture the essence of education very well. **Adrien Brody, through the character Henry Bathes, gives us details of all that is involved in being a teacher. Likewise, each character in this film portraying a teacher also explains it very well.

The clear and transparent message in this film created in 2011 and which by the way has not yet changed is to shout to the world: ***The importance of education does not lie in the bombardment of information but in the attention of each individual according to his or her needs.

Later on, I stumbled upon another movie titled: The Persian Teacher starring the Argentine Nahuel Perez Biscayart who by the way plays his role very well in this film. First time I've seen him acting but I liked it a lot.

Here, beyond seeing a real professor, we observe an imuowpostor who, being cornered by his Jewish nationality, tries to save his life by claiming to be a Persian citizen. Faced with this abrupt change of nationality Gilles, the main character, becomes a Persian teacher of a Nazi military man obsessed with learning the language that the supposed Persian does not master, he does not know it at all.

This movie is so impressive that it makes us believe what it is not. In the middle of the plot I came to think that Guilles had devised strategies to teach the Nazi military but it wasn't so hahaha. The twists in this film lead to many confusions but they are still interesting and historical.

What is common to both films? Possibly, nothing. Only the title professor makes them common but in content nothing to see.

I liked both films. I give the first one 10 ⭐ and the second one 8 🌟 . Recommended.

Dos películas... un mismo nombre

Buscando algunas opciones para pasar mis tardes sin aburrirme encontré una primera película llamada El Profesor (Ignorado) protagonizado por el famoso actor del Pianista Adrien Brody. Una vez más la participación de Adrien en este film es extraordinaria.

Como siempre el título llamó mi atención. Sobre todo esa parte encerrada entre paréntesis que dice: (Ignorado). Sobre este término se desarrolla toda la trama. Soy profesora y por ende me sentí identificada.

¿Ignorado(a)? Obviamente es una crítica social donde se demanda la importancia del rol del educador y la poca atención brindada a los mismos. Se demanda en este film las duras y tristes historias de cada miembro de una institución educativa quienes no asisten a clase solo para enseñar o educar a un grupo de jóvenes rebeldes sino para ir más allá, involucrarse en sus mundos emocionales para llegar y atender sus necesidades.

¿Sabían que realmente esas son las funciones de un docente? Muchos creen que es simplemente explicar un contenido y nada más errado que ese pensamiento. En esta película , quienes la vean, captará muy bien la esencia de la educación. Adrien Brody a través del personaje Henry Bathes, nos da detalles de todo lo que implica ser un profesor. Asimismo, cada personaje en este film representando a un profesor o profesora lo explica también muy bien.

El mensaje claro y transparente en esta cinta creada en el año 2011 y que por cierto aún no ha cambiado es gritar al mundo: La importancia de la educación no reside en el bombardeo de información sino en la atención de cada individuo de acuerdo a sus necesidades.

Más adelante, tropecé con otra película titulada: El Profesor de Persa protagonizada por el argentino Nahuel Pérez Biscayart quien por cierto interpreta muy bien su papel en este film. Primera vez que lo veo actuando pero me gustó mucho.

Aquí, más allá de ver a un profesor real observamos a un imuowpostor que al verse acorralado por su nacionalidad judía busca salvar su vida alegando ser un ciudadano Persa. Frente a este cambio brusco de nacionalidad Gilles, personaje principal, se convierte en un profesor Persa de un militar Nazi obsesionado por aprender el idioma que el supuesto Persa no domina, lo desconoce totalmente.

Esta película es tan impresionante que nos hace creer lo que no es. En medio de la trama llegué a pensar que Guilles había diseñado estrategias para enseñar al militar Nazi pero no fue así jajaja. Los giros en este film llevan a muchas confusiones pero aún así no dejan de ser interesantes e históricos.

¿Qué es lo común en ambos films? Posiblemente, nada. Sólo el título profesor las hace común pero en contenido nada que ver.

Me gustaron ambas películas. A la primera le doy 10 ⭐ y a la segunda 8 🌟 . Recomendadas.
