[Anime Review] Kaleido Star ESP/ENG
Hello, hello people of the internet, how are you? I don't know if any of you remember this gem I'm presenting to you below. It's about Kaleido Star, an anime that I watched in my childhood and that filled me with so much motivation and enthusiasm. It's about the story of Sora, a very talented Japanese girl who travels to the United States to be part of the Kaleido Stage company, a circus show. However, things obviously wouldn't be so easy for her, so she would have to face great challenges such as envy, false friendships, failed romances, and of course, injuries, since these are shows that require great physical effort and excellent physical condition.
Hola Hola gente de internet ¿Cómo están? No sé si alguno de ustedes recuerde esta joya que les presento a continuación, se trata de Kaleido Star, un anime que yo veía en mi niñez y que me llenaba de mucha motivación y entusiasmo. Se trata de la historia de Sora, una chica japonesa muy talentosa que viaja a los Estados Unidos para formar parte de la compañía Kaleido Stage, un espectáculo circense, sin embargo obviamente las cosas no serían tan fáciles para ella, así que deberá enfrentarse a grandes retos como envidias, falsas amistades, romances fallidos y desde luego lesiones, ya que se trata de espectáculos que requerían de grandes esfuerzos físicos y condiciones físicas excelentes.
This anime made me feel very identified with Sora, the protagonist, because even though she and I did very different activities, they still had to do with shows, she in the circus world and I dedicated myself to dancing in a school show band, and in that world envy, resentment and even injuries abound, but I saw Sora's perseverance to face the adverse situations that were presented to her every day and that filled me with motivation, this happened because Sora had a very defined objective, which is why she did not deviate from the course, she also, although she often felt afraid, always regained her self-confidence and worked hard to move forward, thus managing to evolve a lot in her routines and numbers on stage.
Este anime me hacía sentir muy identificada con Sora, la protagonista, porque a pesar de que ella y yo hacíamos actividades muy distintas, de todos modos tenía que ver con espectáculos, ella en el mundo circense y yo dedicándome al baile en una banda show del colegio, y en ese mundo abundan las envidias, los rencores e incluso las lesiones, pero yo veía la perseverancia de Sora para enfrentar cada día las situaciones adversas que se le presentaban y eso me llenaba de motivación, esto sucedía porque Sora tenía un objetivo muy definido, motivo por el cuál no se desviaba del rumbo, ella además, aunque muchas veces llegó a sentir miedo, siempre recuperó su autoconfianza y trabajaba duro para avanzar, logrando así evolucionar muchísimo en sus rutinas y números en escena.
But another thing I loved was that despite all the scheming from Layla Hamilton (his instructor and main rival), Sora managed to evolve so much that he even developed and polished his own acting style on stage. So the anime addresses the theme of perseverance and fighting for your dreams in a very dynamic way, always working with discipline and perseverance. Therefore, Sora was my favorite character because he was so inspiring, which in turn positively influenced me when I went to rehearsals. I still hold out hope for a sequel. 🤗 😃
Pero otra cosa que me encantaba era que a pesar de todas las intrigas de Layla Hamilton (su instructora y principal rival) Sora logró evolucionar tanto que llegó a desarrollar y pulir su propio estilo de actuación en el escenario, así que el anime aborda de una forma muy dinámica el tema de la perseverancia y la lucha por los sueños, siempre trabajando con disciplina y constancia. Por lo tanto Sora era mi personaje favorito por ser tan inspirador, lo cuál a su vez influía positivamente en mi cuando yo iba a mis ensayos. Todavía guardo la esperanza de ver una secuela 🤗 😃
My favorite scenes were obviously where the characters were presented on stage before the audience because they were full of magic, lights, and color, perfectly recreating the enthusiastic atmosphere of shows where applause and expectations abound, which in turn contrasted with the negative things that sometimes happened behind the scenes.
Mis escenas preferidas obviamente eran donde los personajes se presentaban en escena ante el publico porque estaban llenas de magia, luces y color, recreando perfectamente el ambiente entusiasta de los espectáculos donde abundan los aplausos y las expectativas, que a su vez contrastaban con las cosas negativas que a veces sucedían tras bastidores.

Nunca llegue a ver este anime, recuerdo que lo transmitian por TV, pero una vez dieron una maraton durante todo el dia y solo escuchaba su Opening, de verdad me gustaba mucho el OP jaja y cada vez que empezaba me quedaba prendida escuchandolo, todo el dia escuchando esa cancion 😂 no tenia internet como para buscarlo, asi que se justifica supongo jaja

Recuerdo hace muchos años cuando mi prima estuvo viviendo un tiempo en la casa, ella se sentaba y miraba este anime y yo sin darme cuenta después de un tiempo me lo quedaba viendo con ella 🤣 sin saber que años mas adelante me iba a gustar el anime. Gracias por hacer que desbloqueara este recuerdo de hace muchos años.

And what you say about the main character, Sora, sounds great to me. The fact that she keeps going with her passion despite obstacles and envy is a super valuable lesson.
