Cine TV Contest: Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter (Favorite Movie with a Young Lead) ESPA/ENG
Hello Hello, people of the internet, how are you? I am happy to be able to participate once again in this contest because, as you know, I love talking about movies, however this time I am not going to do a detailed analysis of the film as I usually do, for this post I am going to focus on the performance of Daniel Radcliffe who for me is one of the best actors I have ever met and since he started he has been very talented, but today I am going to talk about his performance in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Hola Hola, gente de internet ¿cómo están? yo estoy feliz de poder participar una vez más en este concurso ya que, como saben, me gusta muchísimo hablar sobre cine, sin embargo en esta ocasión no voy a hacer un análisis detallado de la película como suelo hacer normalmente, para este post me voy a concentrar en la actuación de Daniel Radcliffe que para mí es uno de los mejores actores que he conocido y desde que se inició ha sido muy talentoso, pero hoy voy a hablarles acerca de su actuación en Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal.
One of the things I liked most about Daniel Radcliffe in this film is that you could tell he really liked his character and for that reason he had no trouble at all playing him, just by watching him, even without uttering a single word we knew what he was going through. His slow steps as he walks, and his glum expression as he stays with the Dursleys, show how unhappy he was living with them, believing that there was no hope for a better world.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó de Daniel Radcliffe en esta película es que se nota que le gustaba mucho su personaje y por esa razón no le costó para nada interpretarlo, tan solo con verlo, aun sin emitir una sola palabra sabíamos lo que estaba pasando. Sus pasos lentos al caminar, y su expresión apesadumbrada mientras está con los Dursley, denotan lo infeliz que era viviendo con ellos, creyendo que no había esperanzas de tener un mundo mejor.
Harry was a withdrawn boy who did not believe in himself or in his abilities, and that is natural since he had grown up in a hostile environment where he was constantly insulted and even assaulted, that's why I really like the scene where he meets Hagrid and he tells him that he is a wizard, Harry's eyes open wide due to the surprise, but later he tries to refute his interlocutor's statement "I'm just Harry" he says, his subtle and slow tone of voice denotes a lot of humility but at the same time insecurity, and that moved me, just as I was moved by his look of sadness when aunt Petunia was talking so contemptuously about Lily Potter (Harry's mother).
Harry era un niño retraído que no creía en sí mismo ni en sus capacidades, y eso es natural ya que había crecido en un ambiente hostil donde constantemente era insultado y hasta agredido, por eso me gusta mucho la escena donde conoce a Hagrid y él le dice que es un mago, los ojos de Harry se abren mucho debido a la sorpresa, pero posteriormente intenta rebatir la afirmación de su interlocutor "solo soy harry" le dice, su tono de voz sutil y lento denotan mucha humildad pero al mismo tiempo inseguridad, y eso me conmovió, al igual que me conmovió su mirada de tristeza cuando tía Petunia estaba hablando de forma tan despectiva de Lily Potter (la madre de Harry).
Another of my favourite scenes is when Malfoy challenges Harry to follow him on the broom, you can tell that Daniel read the book beforehand to get to know his character better, as one of Harry's best known characteristics was that he was easily provoked and impulsive, I like his look of satisfaction when he recovers Neville's remembrall.
Otra de mis escenas favoritas es cuando Malfoy desafía a Harry a seguirlo en la escoba, se nota que Daniel leyó previamente el libro para conocer mejor su personaje, ya que una de sus características más conocidas de Harry era que caía fácilmente en provocaciones y solía ser impulsivo, me gusta su mirada de satisfacción al recuperar la recordadora de Neville.
Another thing I admire about Daniel is his ability to improvise dialogue since he was a child, I remember a particular scene that does not belong to the philosopher's stone but still belongs to the Harry Potter saga, and is where Mr. Malfoy says ironically "Harry Potter will always be around to save the day" Harry should not answer anything, however Daniel Ridcliffe decided to improvise a response that left fascinated Jason Isaac (Mr. Malfoy) who said that listening to him he knew he was in front of a great actor. Daniel simply held his gaze, full of determination, and replied, "Don't worry, I will be".
Otra de las cosas que admiro de Daniel es su capacidad para improvisar diálogos desde que era pequeño, recuerdo una escena en particular que no pertenece a la piedra filosofal pero igualmente pertenece a la saga de Harry Potter, y es donde el señor Malfoy dice de forma irónica "Harry Potter siempre estará cerca para salvar el día" Harry no debía responder nada, sin embargo Daniel Ridcliffe decidió improvisar una respuesta que dejó fascinado a Jason Isaac (el señor Malfoy) el cuál dijo que al escucharlo sabía que estaba frente a un gran actor. Daniel simplemente le sostuvo la mirada, llena de determinación y respondió: "No se preocupe, lo haré"
Daniel was a kid at that time but it was amazing to see how, not only he had a facility to memorize his lines, but to print feeling to each sentence, accompanying them very well with a characteristic look that would be a very personal stamp, how to forget one of my favourite lines: "No voy a casa, estoy en ella" (in its Spanish version) in the original version he said "no estoy yendo a casa, no en realidad", however the concept was the same, he felt at home being at Hogwarts, despite the bad things that were also in the magical world. Daniel put something special into this scene that makes you feel, how much his character enjoys being a wizard, being away from the home where he was so unhappy.
Daniel era un niño en esa época pero era sorprendente ver como, no solo tenía facilidad para memorizar sus líneas, sino para imprimirle sentimiento a cada frase, acompañándolas muy bien con una mirada característica que sería un sello muy personal, como olvidar una de mis líneas favoritas: "No voy a casa, estoy en ella" (en su versión en español) en la versión original dijo "no estoy yendo a casa, no en realidad", sin embargo el concepto era el mismo, él se sentía en casa estando en Hogwarts, a pesar de las cosas malas que también había en el mundo mágico. Daniel le imprimió algo especial a esta escena que te hace sentir, lo mucho que disfruta su personaje siendo un mago, estando lejos del hogar donde fue tan infeliz.

It would not be wrong to say that Daniel grew up with this film, I think it is a very good choice.
