Demon Hunters [Movie Review] ESP/ENG
Hi internet people, everything alright? I recently saw this movie because, as a K-pop fan, I had to 😄 and since it's a representative South Korean film, it had to use this aspect of its culture for the main premise.
Hola gente de internet todo bien? Hace poco vi está película porque como kpoper que soy tenía que hacerlo 😄 y es que al ser una película representativa de Corea del Sur, tenía que usar este aspecto de su cultura para la premisa principal.
Even before starting the review, I have to say that the film is very good in many aspects. The K-pop part is fascinating; I liked how they represented the way this industry is managed, and the way they fused Korean folklore with K-pop is great 😃. All of its elements are very well made and developed, but without further ado, let's begin 🤗
Incluso antes de empezar la Review tengo que decir que la película es muy buena en muchos aspectos, la parte del kpop es fascinante, me gustó como representaron la forma en que se maneja esta industria, y la manera como fusionaron el folklore coreano con el kpop es genial 😃. Todos sus elementos están muy bien hechos y desarrollados pero sin más preámbulo comencemos 🤗
The story is based on Mira Rumi and Zoey, who, in addition to being idols and having a group called HUNTR/X, are the current generation of demon hunters (an organization that literally dedicates itself to hunting demons and keeping them away from people). However, Rumi's secret and the fracture in the portal they usually create by singing, which keeps the demons at bay, will cause things to start going wrong.
La historia sé basa en Mira Rumi y Zoey quienes además de ser Idols y tener un grupo llamado HUNTR/X, son la generación actual de cazadoras de demonios (organización que literalmente se dedican a cazar demonios y mantenerlos alejados de las personas). Sin embargo el secreto de Rumi y la fractura en el portal que suelen hacer cantando y que mantiene a los demonios a raya hará que las cosas empiecen a salir mal.
Things get worse when the Saja Boys appear, a group of 5 very handsome demons who are also Idols, and who intend to steal the souls of their own fans.
Todo empeora cuando aparecen los Saja Boys, un grupo de 5 demonios muy guapos y que también son Idols, los cuales pretenden robar las almas de sus propios fans.
The voice acting in both languages (Spanish and English) and the character development are tremendous, that's why I love it, especially regarding the protagonists and Rumi's two friends. For example, Jinu, the leader of the Saja Boys, is selfish, calculating, and manipulative; however, time with Rumi transforms him into a better person until he regains empathy for others 🤗.
las actuaciones de voz en ambos idiomas (Español e inglés) y el desarrollo de personajes es tremendo, por eso me encanta, sobre todo en lo que respecta a los protagonistas y las dos amigas de Rumi, por ejemplo Jinu, el líder de los Saja Boys es egoísta calculador y manipulador, sin embargo el tiempo con Rumi va transformándolo en una mejor persona hasta que vuelve a tener empatía por los demás 🤗.
Rumi's friends, despite being very cheerful and playful, know when to stop and listen to each other, when to pay attention to what they feel in order to advise each other. This speaks of a solid friendship; it's not just about having a good time and having fun, but about knowing how to listen, offer support and solidarity, have a word of encouragement, and even lecture when necessary, because a true friend doesn't always tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear so that you can mature, grow, and improve as a person.
Las amigas de Rumi, pese a ser muy alegres y bromistas, saben bien cuando deben parar y escucharse entre sí, cuando deben poner atención a lo que sienten para poder aconsejarse entre ellas, eso habla de una amistad sólida, no se trata solo de pasarla bien y divertirse, sino de saber escucharse, brindar apoyo y solidaridad, tener una palabra de aliento e incluso sermonear cuando haga falta porque un verdadero amigo no te dice siempre lo que deseas oír sino lo que necesitas oír para que puedas madurar, crecer y superarte como persona.
Regarding the soundtrack I can tell you that despite being a musical film, it doesn't become tedious; the songs are excellent and are placed in perfect scenes without being excessive, which gives the film a good balance. Although I love all the songs, I must say that my favorites are "Free" and "Soda pop". You can feel the perfect vibe of authentic K-Pop bands, the same beats that make you get up and shake a leg.
En cuanto al soundtrack puedo decirles que pese a ser una película de tipo musical, no se vuelve tediosa, las canciones son buenísimas y están situadas en las escenas perfectas, sin ser excesivas, lo cuál hace que la película tenga un buen equilibrio. Aunque me encantan todas las canciones, debo decir que mis preferidas con "Free" y "Soda pop". Se siente la vibra perfecta de las bandas de K Pop autenticas, los mismos beats que te hacen levantarte y mover el esqueleto.
And the best part was that they are equally good in both Korean and Spanish; they don't lose quality in the translation process 😍
Y lo mejor fue que tanto en coreano como en español, son igual de buenas, no pierden calidad en medio de la traducción 😍

The art of the animation is beautiful at times and funny at others; the exaggerated reactions of the characters in some scenes are very reminiscent of anime 😄.
El arte de la animación es precioso por momentos y gracioso en otros, las reacciones exagerada de los personajes en algunas escenas recuerdan mucho al anime 😄.
The cinematography is beautiful, with many shots worth highlighting, but I think my favorite sequence is the one during the song "Free." Also, the setting and shots in the scene where Jinu "betrays Rumi," the poor lighting, and the cast... Everything is beautiful. 😍
La fotografía es hermosa, hay muchos planos dignos de resaltar, pero creo que mi secuencia preferida es la que hay durante la canción Free. También la ambientación y planos en la escena donde Jinu "traiciona a Rumi" la poca iluminación y la distribución de los personajes... Todo es hermoso 😍
The character design is so well done that the features look quite Korean, in fact they literally look like idols.
El diseño de personajes está tan bien hecho que los rasgos se ven bastante coreanos, de hecho literalmente parecen Idols.
The truth is that it is worth watching, I love it 😍 although there are some questions that remain unanswered, however it is rumored that there will be a second part, so if that is the case that would not be a problem and I can only wait 🤗
La verdad es que vale mucho la pena verla, me encanta 😍 aunque hay algunas preguntas que quedaron sin respuesta, sin embargo se rumora que habrá una segunda parte, así que siendo así eso no sería un problema y tan solo me queda esperar 🤗
