Hola, gente de Internet. hace algún tiempo hice la review de la primera película de esta "saga" y es que es una certeza que cuando se tiene éxito con una película, en seguida se planea su secuela. No es precisamente lo que esperaba, pero tampoco es tan mala.
In the first film we saw Brady and Mack enter the world of "wet side story" (Brady's favorite film) and interact with the characters of the film, at the end of it, we see the characters of the film, arrive to the real world, it is the starting point to develop the story of the sequel, because the characters of "wet side story" arrive in the world of Brady and Mack.
En la primera película vimos a Brady y Mack adentrarse den el mundo de "Amor sin Arenas" (la película preferida de Brady) e interactuar con los personajes de la película, al final de la misma, vemos a los personajes de la película, llegar al mundo real, es el punto de partida para desarrollar la historia de la secuela, y es que los personajes de "Amor sin Arenas" llegan al mundo de Brady y Mack.
From the outset there are several inconsistencies between films and one of them is that in addition to having the magical amulet (in the previous movie Mack had it printed on his table and Lila had it in a pendant on her necklace) there had to be a storm and a big wave It transported the protagonists of the world, that is, at the beginning Mack and Brady are swept away by a wave of a storm that transports them to "wet side story" and they use the same resource to get out. In this movie, only amulets are enough.
De entrada hay varias incongruencias entre películas y una de ellas es que además de tener el amuleto mágico (en la anterior Mack lo tenía impreso en su tabla y Lila lo tenia en un dije de su collar) tenía que haber una tormenta y una gran ola trasportaba a los protagonistas de mundo, es decir, al inicio Mack y Brady son arrastrados por una ola de una tormenta que los transporta a "Amor sin Arenas" y utilizan el mismo recurso para salir. En esta película solo bastan los amuletos.
I feel that in this film there is a justified feminist discourse since they further develop Lila, a character who comes from the world of a 1964 film where women had a fragile and dependent position on men (father, brothers, boyfriend or husband) as well that when she knows Mack's world, which is also in the future, she is amazed since she feels free to be herself and explore things that in her world she cannot even dream of.
Siento que en esta película hay un discurso feminista justificado ya que desarrollan más a Lila, personaje que viene del mundo de una película del año 64 donde las mujeres tenían una postura frágil y dependiente del hombre (padre, hermanos, novio o marido) así que al conocer el mundo de Mack que además esta en el futuro, queda maravillada ya que se siente libre de ser ella misma y explorar cosas que en su mundo ni puede soñar.
Lila's character is much more developed, as is Tanner who, although he looks like a superficial and silly character, really feels anguish and fears that his girl (Lila) will be changed by the real world and doesn't want to be with him anymore, because he is aware that she is much more intelligent, eager and capable than he is.

On the other hand, Mack is still just as serious and focused on his duties and although Brady is still more relaxed, here we see that he has his own passion and occupation (designing and making surfboards).
Por otro lado, Mack sigue siendo igual de seria y centrada en sus deberes y aunque Brady sigue siendo más relajado, aquí vemos que tiene su propia pasión y ocupación (diseñar y hacer tablas de surft)
The structure of the film is a disaster, although it has a lot of dynamism, the succession of scenes and the time between them is very bad. On the one hand we see that the fact that Lila and Tanner leave their world brings a very serious problem so they must return soon, Lila leaves her dreams because solving this problem is more important and as soon as they leave, they return immediately because Brady and Mack are Bad in their relationship. Is there a very serious problem involved and they continue to take risks just because two teenagers had a fight in their relationship? and it is probable that in time they will fix their differences if they really love each other. Not satisfied with this, once they get Brady and Mack back together, they have to leave in a hurry so as not to continue taking risks (I'm not clearer so as not to give spoilers) but it's time for a sad song, I know it's a musical but Putting a song in the middle of a pressing scene only makes the viewer exasperated, not to mention that the risk taken by the characters in "wet side story" is useless for the conclusion of the film (if they saw it they will already know why) which makes that whole maddening scene of the boys coming out of their world for Mack and brady pointless.
La estructura de la película es un desastre, si bien tiene mucho dinamismo, la sucesión de escenas y el tiempo entre ellas está muy mal. Por un lado vemos que el que Lila y Tanner salgan de su mundo trae un problema bastante serio por lo que deben volver pronto, Lila deja sus sueños porque resolver este problema es más importante y apenas se van, vuelven en seguida porque Brady y Mack están mal en su relación ¿hay un problema gravísimo de por medio y se siguen arriesgando solo porque dos adolescentes se pelearon en su relación? y es probable que en un tiempo arreglen sus diferencias si se quieren realmente. No conforme con esto, una vez que logran que Brady y Mack vuelvan a estar juntos, tienen que irse apresuradamente para no seguir arriesgándose (no soy más clara para no dar spoilers) pero es momento para una canción triste, se que es un musical pero poner una canción en medio de una escena apremiante solo desespera al espectador, sin contar con que el riesgo que corrieron los personajes de "Amor sin arenas" no sirve de nada para la conclusión de la película (si la vieron, ya sabrán porqué) lo que hace que toda esa escena desesperante de los chicos volviendo de su mundo por Mack y brady no tenga sentido.
In terms of cinematography, the film is beautiful, with warm and welcoming filters, as well as a vibrant color palette that draws a lot of attention from the viewer.
En cuanto a fotografía, la película es hermosa, tiene filtros cálidos y acogedores, además de una paleta de colores vibrante que llama mucho la atención del espectador.
If we talk about the Soundtrack, it's not bad, but the one from the previous movie was much better, I liked practically every one of the songs, it's this movie, I only liked a couple (literally) and to conclude I'll leave them below:
Si hablamos del Sountrack, no está mal, pero el de la película anterior estuvo muchísimo mejor, prácticamente cada una de las canciones me gustaron, es esta película, solo me gustaron un par (literalmente ) y para concluir se las dejaré a continuación:
